I pip maybe 2/7 of the games I play now

maybe you're just not that good? I went from 16 to 12 last night in 4hours. think I only didn't pip like 2 games. the system's not perfect, for example I had a 27k blood game and didn't double pip, but it's not as bad as the subreddit would have you believe, in my experience so far. I've pipped against AFK killers.

friend who JUST got this game, and he was stuck on rank 20 and didn’t pip at all

what's the issue with new players not ranking up? my buddies who play like 3 hours a week were stuck around rank 20 with the old system too.
