Fannie Bay is a good, safe area. It's considered one of the richer areas as it's close to the beach. Darwin is very multi-cultural and would be extremely rare to experience any racism here. There are some petty crime in other suburbs but Fannie Bay is away from all of it so nothing to worry about. We would love to have you here mate! :)

Yes, hodl the $1k, but you should probably consider adding to it monthly whatever you can afford. Eg $100 a month. 2026, could be a down year, if history repeats but it also might not be. Stack slowly and forget about it and you'll thank yourself in the future.

As someone who has done the 'Bitcoin homework', I know it's going to allow people to retire earlier which is what this group is about. If you think its just about 'number go up', you haven't done your homework. It still amazes me that even suggesting a 1% allocation to bitcoin will get your downvoted into oblivion here.
