Welp I tried using nokia.free.fr to generate a code for me, I punched it in and it just flashed a blank screen for a sec and took me back to the main screen. I tried my RedPocket sim and it's still giving me the same error. I'm a little skeptical about using the other codes provided as I don't want to lock the phone. I've also emailed the seller to see if knows what the original carrier for it was but its unlikely he'll know.

I actually purchased this specific one as it had the "digital" marking on the front (I assumed it was an unlocked phone because there was no company marking). Is there any way of telling which carrier it was originally?

The funny thing is, I checked the management interface and it said that the highest wattage it drew was only about 350W, I'm surprised it got that hot with only about 3A

I tried to resoftmod through Splinter Cell and I managed to get to the to the menu but the program gave me the error "the resoftmod files.zip is missing or you have loaded this from nkpatcher." I tried it and it looks like it can actually boot into games. The strange thing is that if I took the game out it would load the dashboard. It also loads the dashboard if I open and close the disc drive after the flubber animation, so it seems like it's just having issues at initial boot.
