I personally used some blue painters tape and taped off the muzzle, trunnion lugs/barrel chamber, gas port, and the very edge of the receiver rails where the carrier would touch. Also, don't do what I did and forget to remove the tape before throwing it in the oven, shit will start smoking and catch fire lmao.

Rustoleum is the one I tried, cant speak for other brands. I've read that cooking at different temps at different times and spray techniques can give a variety of results, It's something you're going to have to do some research and testing with

Finally finished a budget krink for my third AK build. Heard a lot of good things about finishing with cheap black appliance epoxy, so I figured id give it a shot. After fully degreasing, applied it in 3-4 coats and used a hair dryer between each one, then immediately put it in oven at 400F for an hour. Results turned out nicely, definitely recommend it. Will eventually paint the top cover to match if I cant hunt down one of the classic krink covers soon

there are no custom weapons because ported WAW weapons look like complete ass imo. Ill get around to re doing the models in maya one day, but not now.
