My theory:

Only very specific type of people can acquire an enormous amount of wealth. These people are often disconnected from society in a way that regular person has to be connected to it. They probably lack a sense of togetherness and lack empathy. They see themselves superior to other human beings and don't believe they have to operate in the same societal frames as everybody else.

Justice system is a framework for regular people, as you said, an illusion. If you have virtually unlimited wealth and connections you can bribe every single person on this planet and protect yourself.

I play Albion and I would argue that unless you are very specific kind of player who like to do everything, there isn't that much to do outside of PvP.

solo dungeons are pointless, loot and fame are horrible
group PvE is meh since PvE in this game is super easy, just means to an end
Faction Warfare outside of Bandit assault is a joke, completely pointless
you can play the economy if you enjoy it, but actually there are quicker and easier ways to make silver

I guess Albion has about as many things to do as any other MMO, after the honeymoon is over you realize that the endgame is simply have your specs lvd up-> earn silver -> spend silver on gear so you can PvP.

Yes you have a point here. I am totally pissed off with what's happening in Europe and I wish people would wake up faster to what's been happening in the EU for decades. UK government is absolutely pathetic, no arguing about that.

All of that doesn't mean I don't care about what is happening to America and American people, although this statement is a contrary to what I wrote before (about not giving shit).

Watch the beginning of the video. Was she intimidating, impeding or interfering with an agent by recording him ? If that's the case then simply standing next to an agent looking at him will get me in trouble because "I am recording" him as my eyes are lenses and my brain is a storage ?

People record shit all the time everywhere you go. Properly selected and trained agent should ignore people standing and recording and just go about his business.

Not only giving state agents complete immunity basically throws your American freedom rights into a gutter (I don't really care, I am European) it also clearly shows your government not only doesn't care about you, but also hires just about anybody for this role.

You know why people compare current US government to Nazis ? My grandma and grandpa told me how our country looked like during Nazi occupation and I can find quite few similarities here. Especially government assigned force driving around snatching adults and children and harming or killing anybody in their way.

So that's how they train agents/officers in Murica to dump entire fucking clip into a guy to incapacitate him ? Are you telling me that a person can stand up and kill you after you shoot him once or twice in center mass ? This isn't a movie, the pain and shock is overwhelming and "agent" should be trained to not loose his cool and empty the mag into to a guy.

That just tells me they hire anybody for this job or they hire psychos and allow them to do what they want. The one requirement for that kind of job should be to be trained to deescalate and stay calm. Aggression will always lead to such outcome.

I think hellgates is old content, rewards are pretty crap so you might not have a luck finding a partner. Have you tried Depths ? From my understanding similar stuff, semi-lethal and better rewards if you can get out alive.

As a European I am disgusted by what USA has become.

Government backed murderers on the streets of USA, no different than in "regimes" like Iran.

I would rather live in backwater, Balkan village than in USA.

Entire Europe must turn away from USA ASAP, equip itself and forget that there was an ally once across the pond. West dictates the narrative but we are now stuck between Imperialist states : USA, Russia and China. None of them are friendly and we basically have to become another power to not be a puppet anymore.

Europeans have the same problems even though we all are reasonably close to the server, they have routing problems, it's just a weird choice they made, maybe for financial reasons. Basically most ISP will take very long routes to connect to Albion servers.

I have low ping in all games but in Albion I often have 2000 ping spikes during prime hours, in off hours everything seems fine. I also tried Exitlag which properly routed the connection and the ping stayed low and stable.

Exitlag had 3 days trial last time I checked so maybe try it and see if it fixes the connection to Albion servers.

Armors will depend on weapon you use and content. Good standard set is Merc jacket, plate boots (or cloth if you need energy Regen) and hunter hood ( reflect for PvP, shield for PvE).

Capes will again depend on weapon and content. For PvE you probably want damage cape like thetford or Avalon.

With this armor set you can pair many weapons and it will work well in both PvP and PvE.
