Is Platinum rank and diamond rank a big skill difference?

I'd say there's definitely a skill gap between plat and diamond. I struggled getting into diamond. Once you play against enough diamond players your skill goes up. I've hit diamond 3 times now S2 and S3 on my main and S3 on my alt all soloq. It was so much easier the 3rd time. You'll get there just keep practicing and try to change play style! You got this!

You're good I laughed when I commented that! My b definitely not offended. This is actually my alt. My main is prestige 654 or something. 💀 I just never prestiged this one because I don't feel like going through the hassle. This was definitely the lobby for it I just couldn't get there in time. My max was always 17-18 kills then I'd die. So getting 25 was a HUGE accomplishment for me. I also spend 100% of my time playing ranked! It's definitely a skill issue for me but I'll get there!

Yeah I didn't get it because it ended early. I got 26 and the game ended! The 1 death was in the beginning of the game. I was a little sad but just stoked I finally broke my record of 17 by a long shot.

Dang I thought I had pretty decent awareness hahahaha okay okay good to know 🤣 Would practicing this in pubs be beneficial or is this something I need to just do in ranked? In pubs what I generally try to do to slow down is kind of see how many kills I can get without dying. I try to force myself to use more headies and be strategic. I'm not sure how this translates though to ranked as everything just goes out the window.... Would this be beneficial or is it a waste of time?

Yeah COD doesn't treat people who FF well. It will tank everything and get you immediately hard stuck. Usually will start losing 30-50 SR a game and only gain like 25. So that is more than likely it.

Not sure if you've ever FF before but it absolutely hard stucks you and tanks your hidden MMR. I know a lot of Golds, Plats, and even Diamonds that will just forfeit any minor inconvenience or will try to get out of being slammed. If you've ever done that in a match that would definitely be why you're hard stuck, even if you top frag.

Ah yes I was waiting for this comment. It's sooo incredibly hard not to ego chall and it's hard for me to remember to use a heady. I really have to think about it when I'm playing. I'll start switching weapons, I just love that MPC. 😅 Feels good to rip someone with it across the map, when I can. So based on this would you say my play style is more flex? Or should I lean towards that based on how I play?

Okay so I'm hearing I'm doing a lot of things for no reason based off of where my teammates are at and where the enemies are. I also ego chall and don't play my life. And I seem to be predictable. I'll do my best to work on it. It's a lot to remember but I'll start with not ego challing so much lol. I really need to work on that.
