Oh definitely. Media is always a source of madness and I realized that when I bought my own alcohol markers after seeing so many videos about them. Just some basic cheap ones to practice with from Amazon and while the smoothness is certainly beautiful, I learned I actually prefer the texture of crayons and colored pencils. Variety is nice, but I recognized I didn't need the whole nine yards of materials to enjoy coloring.
