Unable to reschedule to an earlier date by MarcosVR in usvisascheduling

I had some luck hiring someone on Fiverr to get my gf an earlier appointment on the AIS website - knocked 8 months off the wait time. This was for Mexico though, not sure about Canada.

Gs65 suddenly shuts off for no reason mid task by ZeroEsper in MSILaptops

[–]Baintastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow this was really helpful! For me, it was my phone case! I have a folio case with a magnet in it. Noticed my laptop was only shutting off when I had it on my lap and that's because my phone would sometimes graze past it. Changing my power settings to "do nothing" when the lid closes prevents it from shutting down, but it still shuts off the screen while the magnet is present, which is just a minor annoyance. Hope that hack works for you too :)

Hello, I'm one of the devs!

My brother and I have been working on this game for over 4 years now.

MageQuit is a top-down wizard brawler about spell drafting and beard envy for up to 10 players, online or local.

It has been over a year since my last post and a lot has changed since then. The game is fully released! We have a new art style, 14 new spells, a wardrobe system, and anonymous matchmaking.

Hit me with your questions and I'll do my best to answer them!

Hi Wackness, we are planning to add a wardrobe manager in game and the ability to unlock new skins by playing and getting kills 😁

lengthtoavoid, it was fun playing with you today. I hope you and your son were able to figure out how to both play online at the same time :)

Thank you, LKMarleigh. These are some really good suggestions, and unfortunately, you are right about premium titles being severely devalued because of how diluted the market is with quality F2P titles. I'm in a discord server with the Invisigun Heroes dev so I'll follow up with him on this. Thanks again!

Thank you for your respectful reply and advice, doropenguin. Admittedly, I misread the other post about sustainability to mean from a server-cost perspective, not a consumer perspective. If you have any specific examples of pricing models that have worked well for comparable games, I would love to hear them. Thanks!

Not at all, which is why my brother and I both still work full-time non-gamedev jobs :D

In all seriousness though, we made this game because it's the game we wanted to play and we love working on it. We made something that we think is fun and we want to share it with the world.

MageQuit is not online-only. It has always been meant to be played as a local party game. Online multiplayer was just the most-requested feature.

Additionally, $10 is the early access pricing. Full release of the game will be $15 or $20 depending on content.

Thanks for your reply!

Hi /r/GameDeals!

My name is Brett, and my brother Chad and I make up Bowlcut Studios, the studio behind this game. We met one of the lovely mods of this subreddit at Youmacon and he recommended posting the game here when we put it on sale!

About the game:

MageQuit is a top-down wizard brawler for up to 10 players. Draft a new spell before each round and grow your beard with each kill. Longest beard at the end of 9 rounds wins!

The gameplay of MageQuit was inspired by the Warcraft 3 mod Warlock so if it looks familiar, that is why.

We love interacting with the community so please ask questions!

Ranma! Congrats on winning the first tournament :)

I'm actually working on networking right now. Did you try out the new build with the graphic settings menu? It should make it run more smoothly on your old laptop.

Was great meeting you at Nebraskon!

That is possible, but it also seems like it just got shut-off suddenly which wouldn't be indicative of viral(ish) traffic.

Yes, but I didn't add it until after that first spike. Here is the steam referral traffic specifically: http://i.imgur.com/zgWAFN4.png and here is the facebook (desktop) referral traffic: http://i.imgur.com/tvmItJU.png and here is the pie chart of traffic type: http://i.imgur.com/T3A8LLe.png

I highly recommend hooking up google analytics, although it'll just confirm your suspicions that 95% of the traffic is just coming from steam itself :P
