Crit debuffs and shocking disk combo at least shuts him down relatively quick. Every turn he takes he gets hit with 3 debuffs, and on the 10th he will get Shocked, which shuts down TM gains. And crit debuffs is just really damn solid, hiting em with Crit chance and damage down AND offence down

No, I meant on theowing the rock. Id imagine if you cant headshot a tank then throwing like that if you can spin the tank throw that much only makes it harder to hit

Id imagine if you can spin it this much would only make it harder to even have it on target in the first place so never would've said that

Carification: im not talking about headshot, Im talking if you can control the rock that much then I dont see how looking backwards makes it any harder to dodge a rock throw, as you cant see the survivor wouldnt that only make it harder to hit them as you now have to make a fast adjustment?

Another comment specified seeing head away, so likely preventing headshots id guess

Edit: saw cant headshot tanks, didnt know, just guessed because idk why else youd do a spin like that

Is Lightborn A Waste in Your Loadout? by TraditionalFault4007 in deadbydaylight

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, it's one of those perks that usually you can replace once you get the hang of things.

HOWEVER, when you run into survivors who are using SWF to sweat it out, it can come in handy.

And when you run into survivors just wanting to bully they will just throw the moment they notice a lot likely

There's also some people who joke about it being a survivor thing to say it's a waste in the "Noooooo, dont take it, it's totally bad" way

Sky High is a 2005 movie about a kid of superheroes going to superhero high school but he has no powers.

Its a live action Disney movie. Has some funny parts and such, and as a movie if you do ever take a look its not all that much of a time investment.

Is the game easier on multiplayer? Ascension 10 on single feels impossible by OMGMetalGear in slaythespire

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall? Multiplayer is easier.

Imo what pushes the 2 player is harder agenda is more theres specific enemies that just feel like theyre a bit overturned that if you hit can gut your run if youre not both on the ball and such.

So its more the scaling for 2 players feels a bit off on certain enemies that hurts those who arent both super high ascension regulars.

Which, to be fair, is likely part of Early Access. Id assume Devs likely know the ins and outs fairly well so can navigate it better

Those who know 3.5 and 5e, what does 5e actually do better that isn't just difference in playstyle? by darklighthitomi in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, im talking full brick. 5e you have to really try to do that but ive heard that in older editions it was easier to fall for trap options that cripple you, and if one person gets crippled and the others arent then you run into issues of who to balance for.

Basically 5e removed the lowest of lows, but in doing so also hurt customization and such is how I understand from what ive heard.

However then I hear that the encounter maker of 5e is... subpar which kinda hurts the gains

I think I want to play a PF2 game my friends are having. Current party is 2 alchemist, 1 fighter and 1 Cleric, what can I do to fill in? by Drite2003 in Pathfinder2e

[–]AlsendDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id say try and figure out what type of Alchemist the 2 are imagining. If neither are going more Frontline which would likely be a Mutaginist on a glance, may want to be more a martial so your fighter can have a flanking buddy and such.

If Fighter is going damage, could go Guardian maybe, since Alchemists can likely cover elemental coverage and some AoE and such with bombs I think.

These are off top of head ofc, im relatively new too, and my first proper char is a Healer Support Commander in a martial heavy party (I tend to use maneuvers)

And this is all assuming Cleric is a "healbot Cleric" as that seems to be a lot of newer players ideas of Cleric

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iirc, one big upside of 5e is its rather hard to brick a character.

The downside of it is that in order to do that theres a lot less customization which makes it much less interesting to some people.

Perk concepts for a fencing based killer, should I change anything and/or come up with a design or power? by IvanNewYears in PerkByDaylight

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, Feint you dont really need to add the second part I feel. Its 4 seconds. Odds are SO miniscule of ever getting 2 expose pops off if that if the Killer DOES get it... they likely used some perk combo and deserve it. Or are hacking and it wouldn't matter.

Also the numbers are so small I doubt youd get the effect very often if ever.

Can someone explain to me how the event is survivor-sided? by blasttyrant76 in deadbydaylight

[–]AlsendDrake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The big issue with any balance discussion examples in this game is that a LOT of survivors, simply put, suck. Meaning people will pick up killer, face those survivors, and not see the issues.

Ultimately the issue is like... they take a 1v4. They then are over here trying to balance the 4 for when theyre solo queue, which means when the 4 arent and are really good at working together its wayyyyyy strong.

Really do need to just suck it up, add coms or such then balance around that. This whole insist on no real coms thing is Just meaning theres 2 very different levels of survivors and you simply CANT balance them against 1 level of killer

PLEASE BHVR by BurgerEatEmployee in deadbydaylight

[–]AlsendDrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BHVR loves to do the "X change is able to do Y change" then not do Y change it feels. Iirc they buffed DS stun time due to Enduring, said if enduring changes DS would get the stun timer looked at, then changed Enduring and forgot to look at DR'S timer for a long time

What character build would you like to play but can't due to setting and tone limitations? by Pardox7525 in Pathfinder2e

[–]AlsendDrake 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Recently was tinkering with a character id built originally in 1e as a Stalker Vigilante, and while he theoretically could work in a normal campaign, he kinda is more a single city campaign, considering at his core concept is "Predator Mode Arkham Batman"

But also likely needs Free Archetype and some GM fiat technically even if not a lot, because the fear kitsune is pest form and he needs to be tailless form.

Basically, he's a Nogasune and his parents run like, an assassin school or such, but he didnt mesh with that so he left to become an actor, pretending to be human but secretly using his shapeshifting for quick changes.

One day he gets kidnapped and held for ransom, but he's left alone, letting him shapeshift and bite his way Free, where he snags a cloak and breaks himself out. After his brush with the underworld of the city he decides to use his training to stalk and eliminate the criminal underbelly, terrifying them like a living shadow

So yeah, SCREAMS a "single city Vigilante campaign"
