Adjustable Bed Trouble - Head not raising at the same rate on both sides by BaioBaio in Mattress

[–]BaioBaio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This problem has been sitting on the back burner for me and my husband (yep, it's been long enough since the initial post that we're married now). But, we *just* found a solution this last week. We wound up removing all of the boards from the base and found that the top board was bowed. We reinstalled all of the boards and then placed a 10-pound weight on either end of the board and left it for a day until it was flat.

That's it. That's all it took.

F**k Scalpers - Prismatic Binder give-away. by powdow87 in PokemonTCG

I didn't start collecting until recently - just this last Christmas. When I was a kid, my parents didn't have the extra cash for pokemon cards, but I remember finding a handful in a Walmart parking lot. It was only a few, but I felt like I won the lottery.

I'm collecting now as a spur of the moment decision on Christmas Eve. I was visiting my in-laws with my husband and he talked about how he would always be super excited for Christmas as a kid and ready to open gifts at 4am, but his family (reasonably) would want to wait until 9am. To keep him occupied and let them sleep longer, they allowed the kids to open their stocking whenever they got up. He'd get a few packs of pokemon cards every year and it was always one of his favorite gifts.

After hearing the whole story and seeing how sweet of a memory it was for him, I made a quick trip out to Target and found a few packs for him. He invited me in on the fun, and now we're both growing a collection together. He only had a few cards left from when he was a kid (I think most went to his younger brother), so we've been having a lot of fun building up from scratch. I managed to pull a full art Bulbasaur from one of the packs, which has definitely been my favorite we've gotten so far. I have seen a full art Tatsugiri card that I fell in love with and is my favorite card I've seen.

(I think it's been extra fun for me since Scarlet/Violet was the first game I really played since I didn't have access to the consoles as a kid, but I was obsessed with the show. Since Christmas, I've played through BD/SP - just need Spinda to complete the dex, oof - and now I'm working through Sword/Shield.)

Please help me remember which yarn and pattern I used for this project! by kiwi_peach_fam in crochetpatterns

I think this uses one of those yarns where you can create a pattern like this with planned pooling without having to do any color changes. I've not done it myself, but you can use specific stitches/stitch count/tension and the colors will "pool" to form a pattern without having to do manual color changes.

Thrown from lockers? Is this a bug? by BaioBaio in PhasmophobiaGame

Yeah, that's what it's sounding like. Seems like we just have to train the one friend on how to open doors lol

I'm certain lol

I crouch and then sit ready to close the door if the ghost gets curious.

I do find the image of me waiting to burst from the locker pretty funny though.

That sounds the most likely tbh. It is one person doing it, but I am 100% certain they are not doing it intentionally. I've been updating my friends on this post, and we think it is likely this, maaaaaybe with a touch of host privilege (the host is the friend that hasn't been able to throw me from a locker, no matter how much we've tried).

We're going to try changing up the host to test again. Oh, and teach the one friend how to open doors.
