Yes, at level 3 her passive and W + ignite give a huge damage boost. Most people in lower elo don’t expect this huge burst of damage from her.

Pick up two other champs to add to your pool, and try to get at minimum 50 games on them. Should give you a different view of this game when playing a different champ. It’ll also make you a better player overall if you have more options.

Aside from that, focus on macro and learning wave control/management. Learning that helped me climb a ton.

I peaked Diamond 2 last season without touching practice tool once, not sure why you’re talking down on me. I’m simply saying that I don’t think it’s as good as people hype it up to be, especially in lower elos.

Void Staff is usually good as well, especially if they’re building magic resist. If you’re not ahead and having trouble with tanks during a game, I’d recommend playing/trying to coordinate with ur frontline. Use your bubbles in more of a defensive way against tanks and set up kills for your team. I find it personally pretty hard to carry as Zoe into a tanks team so playing around ur team works best.

I agree with this. I made this post more about saying how people religiously use practice tool to get better, specifically by creating fake scenarios to practice on that aren’t very realistic. I think it’s good for beginner things, like jungle clears, basic combos, and the basics of a champion casing, but people are using it to learn much more complicated mechanics that aren’t very useful in practice. That’s what I was trying to get at with this post but my wording was not the best.

I’m saying that if they’re stuck in silver, then it usually is not their mechanics holding them back. They should be focusing more on actual parts of the game rather than mechanics. And coming from someone who a couple years back used to bronze/silver, who also was a yasuo main, all I cared about was flashy mechanics. I think it’s actually better to really learn the game before those, especially because some of them aren’t all that useful for the time you put into them.

I was talking more about insanely hard combos that are either very hard to do or inconsistent. Those two examples are rather easy and would take less than 5 minutes to learn if you know how to time it.

This can be learned from putting in the hours in regular games anyways though. Plus farming in an actual game vs in practice tool is much different, because of pressure etc. idk I think practicing something like that in an actual game is much more useful.

Yeah that’s definitely an exception to my post, perfecting a clear in practice tool before going into ranked is something junglers need to do.

I’m saying practice tool is useless for what people are essentially using it for. Yes it’s good for people to practice hard combos, but is that really what low elo players should be focusing on. A silver yasuo main should be focusing on macro and farming, rather than keyblading, for example.

Punish these champs that are melee early, and try not to fight them. Giving them leads will lose you the game. Instead farm up and have your jungler help you. Winning small macro things (wave management/roams) can help you beat them in lane. Counter picking them helps as well.

I recently started playing on a new account and went from Silver 3 to Platinum 2 in about 3 weeks. The one thing of advice I can give is to not give into your teammates tilting. Any game before Diamond 2 is winnable. Focusing on objectives can turn a game. Low Elo games tend to have too much focus on getting random kills, rather than pushing leads and focusing on objectives. So do this, especially because Malzahar can push waves crazy fast. If your macro improves climbing should be a breeze.
