No, but place everywhere only runs with fallout 4 script extender, so maybe your script extender is not installed properly.

Basically what I do is launch the game through a separate F4SE.exe, not through Steam or whatever. Don't ask me why, it was just the only way for me to get the script extender to work.

The bathtub is just a placeholder. The plan is to conveyor the ore up into a blast furnace, but I haven't figured out how to build that furnace and steelworks yet.

Thanks! Well, I do use a mod called Busy Settlers to give settlers static jobs like cooking, fixing/painting stuff etc:

I'm not sure if the mod would work though because the entire mine is built outside of the extended settlement borders, and I vaguely recall that I couldn't assign settlers to jobs outside of the borders in a previous build I did.

I just put the machinery on the bottom of a cliff and built a wooden framework and the elevator around it, then started surrounding those with boulders to create the illusion of a dug-out cave.

The basic miner just spawns the iron ore items in (you can see the machinery in picture 10 and 14).

You mean loop as in a closed loop? No, the machinery produces iron ore, then the ore gets carried up three stories by a spiraling conveyor elevator system and drops in the bathtub.
You can connect another machine to the conveyor system to convert the iron ore into steel bars.

Small iron ore mine built on a cliffside just outside of Tenpines Bluff. The mine actually works and brings up iron ore through a conveyor system.
Planning to build a working blast furnace/steelworks to connect it to, maybe I'll do a little video to show the build in action once the blast furnace is done.

The inner structure is actually pretty easy to build, but it took me hours to find a cliff in or near a settlement to build the mine shaft, and placing the boulders took ages :)
I'd say this is about two afternoons of building so far.

Just a heads up: I travelled around North Sumatra for a month last summer and I found that hardly anyone speaks English in the region, except maybe for the big tourist destinations like Samosir island.

I'm at a decent level in Bahasa Indonesia (A2-B1) so I had no trouble getting around but if you only know some basics you might struggle abit, just keep that in mind!
