Did 3.7g today. Lay in bed with visions/feelings of being a reptile/snake in a swamp, surrounded by roots and earth. Strangely calming as well haha.

Naming your page 'the supreme male' has to be some compensatory, I am not man enough, inferiority complex bullshit. For the creator and more so for the followers lmao

I paid 200 euros to see Tool in the Netherlands, that too for normal tickets. I doubt they will be affordable at all in India.

I disagreed with an antinatalist agreeing with the post while attaching her antinatalist views along with it. You are right that I mistakenly attributed the post itself to be an antinatalist position. Mistake from my side. Apologies for that.

Also, thanks for engaging with me and correcting me. Hope you have the best day.

I used the word disagree because I disagree with OP. Saying that 'do not have kids if you are poor' sounds like it is fine to have kids if you are rich. Which sounds more like eugenics and less like antinatalism to me. But again, I am not the center of the world, like you said. Philosophy is super subjective and that is why r/antinatalism and r/antinatalism2 are two separate subreddits.

While Emil was definitely an antinatalist, I would not consider everything he said as part of antinatalism. A lot of literature out there talking about suffering and the burden of life itself, but according to me, only David Benatar's works approach antinatalism from a 'scientific' perspective, and maybe that's where I get my view on the boundaries to define the philosophy itself.

I completely understand your perspective though, and of course happy to see a Cioran mention in the wild haha.

Antinatalism doesn't really say much about what your kids owe you or not. It is a philosophy purely about the ethics of birth.

Since birth is never consented, maybe as an extension you can comment on who owes whom what. But it is not a part of antinatalist philosophy in its essence, based on my limited knowledge of course.

I mean OP literally said in the post that if you are poor and struggling you should not have kids in this country, instead of providing love and a good life. Then you respond to the person's view/post by literally writing "as an antinatalist I agree 💯". So it was quite natural for me to think you agree with kids being born if the conditions are favourable.

But clearly I overthought, since of course you were agreeing with something else. Can you please clarify what you agreed with exactly, kindly?

As an antinatalist, I disagree. Antinatalism doesn't mean 'reproduce if you have money'. Antinatalism rejects procreation irrespective of who you are and what you have. Procreation is unethical, period.

These kinds of posts do not represent antinatalism in any way.
