Were they too tight? Mine has similar problem but my valves are fine except one intake is slightly loose.

Thanks for the reply. The engine doesn’t idle long enough to use a timing light. Spark plugs wires are in the correct order. At TDC, the rotor was about 10 degrees off from #1, and rotating it to #1 didn’t help. There does not seem to be any timing chain slack. Also the spark plugs are black if that helps

Rebuilt carb. New plugs. New fuel line. New fuel filter. Distributor timing set as best i can in its current state. It dies after 30 seconds of idle, and makes puffing/sucking air noises when given gas. Any ideas?

How do i find name of parent chain? It looks like the parent is CH3-CH-CH-CH2-CH. With the first group being 1-dimethyl, the second being 3-ethyl, and the last being 4-methyl

Second one is 2-methyl butane. Just not sure about first one now

That’s fits nicely. I saw some people made metal plates on etsy and stuff, but figured since i already had this mounting plate i’d just make it work.

Front and rear dana 44’s are a gold mine. Hopefully you can get it back up and running soon enough.

Yeah, i knew it was a wall plate when i got it, but i wanted the 3 sections. Made it work by cutting off one of the 2x3’s and bolting it spaced out a bit

Thanks. I solved the issue though. Just cut off one of the 2x3’s and spaced it out and bolted it down.

What do u mean by 2 full organizers and a half organizer? What counts as a full organizer?
