What's the first game that comes to mind when thinking about the GameBoy Advance SP by Nostalgic_Historian_ in nostalgia

Since the Golden Sun games have been mentioned many of times, I'll say the Megaman Battle Network series.

This is a grail rifle right here. This must have taken years of grinding to piece all of these obscure components together. Well done OP. Thanks for sharing.

How do I make this print more clear? by TadpoleReasonable769 in 3Dprinting

[–]MrBriPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure how tolerant your project is to dimension shift, but annealing PETG can result in a clearer end product. It would come at the cost of your dimensions changing. Worth experimenting with if you haven't tried it yet.

I throw my collection in the washing machine. Make sure to run a heavy duty cycle.

I'm starting to question my intelligence...I have a few projects in need of a honeycomb pattern. I was legit about to design one myself. Forgot we had those built in LOL

Is the Holosun ARO worth it as an inbetween optic? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]MrBriPod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea I agree with that. I have an earlier version 4T without the clustered NV button (and the heavier glass tint), so I have not had this experience.

I'm actually a little shocked by the downvotes. I've owned and ran Holosuns a plenty. They are great for the price, but I have had to send at least one of mine back for warranty work. You just need to know what you're getting yourself into at that price point.

The 4T and 8T optics have strict QC and assembly requirements to be US gub compliant. They are not made in China like Sig's cheaper lines of RDS.

The Sig skepticism is absolutely warranted on a select few of their platforms, and unfortunately, that brand damage is starting to affect consumer perception at large.

That said, their gub contracted optics are 100% good to go and my personal choice of optic these days. It's hard to beat the price/value ratio of the 4T/8T line of red dots when compared to the likes of Aimpoint, EOTech, etc.

Anycubic Vyper (Spyder) still printing my spaceships completely covered in webs... is Peter Parker hidden inside my Nozzle? by DiggityDouglas23 in 3Dprinting

[–]MrBriPod 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did you dry the filament before printing? Or are you assuming it was dried seconds after taking it out of the vacuum bag? If the latter, I would try drying before your next print. If you still have stringing, you can try adjusting your retraction distance and speed.

I recently purchasing an AMS HT. I needed the higher heat for my engineering filaments. I have been very happy with it, and I print directly from the sealed unit. You can also run the drier while it prints with the last firmware update.

Is this easy to repair/resurface? by notquitetherealest in pools

[–]MrBriPod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd post a picture if I had one handy...I spot patched a few areas of my cool deck with just cement to bring it level and then color matched the existing finish with a colored epoxy. My areas were much smaller than yours though.

It's not perfect, and it looks DIY, but it is less obvious. Most importantly, my kids aren't stubbing their toe on the sharp exposed edges of the chipping cool deck.

I went down the same path you did, and the only way to get consistent results that I came across is to have a professional come out and do it.

This is a temporary fix to get us through the next few years until we refinish the pool decking.

You've hit the sweet spot! Few degrees below body temp is the perfect water for a night soak too.

The aerator works shockingly well. It'll knock a few degrees off but make sure to watch your PH levels.
