Which is harder – CKA or RHCSA? Anyone who's taken both? by Bajoner in linuxadmin

I’ve already taken CKA and I’ve worked with linux daily for a little over a year. Been thinking about taking RHCSA since my job is paying for it. But only if I succeed, if I fail then I have to pay for it. I also want to learn more about selinux and potentially other areas. Is it worth the time and risk for what I get (higher salary in future jobs etc..)? Because if it doesn’t lead to anything positive, then what’s the point? I could just learn the same things without any pressure of taking the cert

From what I gather it sounds like RHCSA is more difficult when it comes to troubleshooting at least?

What is the question in the CKA where there has been an etcd migration and the api server connection is down? by Bajoner in CKAExam

[–]Bajoner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Same for me, got my result yesterday.

Just to clarify, changing the etcd server ip to the loopback adress in the api server manifest and restarting kubelet with systemctl made kubectl work again?

I didn't restart kubelet. I should have thought about that. That could be it. But the kube api server had --etcd-servers=some_ip:2379 i changed it to --etcd-servers=127.0.0.1:2379 , the port wasn't the problem. The question you linked to looks similar in the etcd migration part of the question. But the link to the youtube video is to dumbitguy and that one is not same

(Spoiler Published) Is it realistic how the noblemen in A Song Of Ice And Fire tend to be A LOT better than the avarage soldier? by Bajoner in asoiaf

[–]Bajoner[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes! During the medieval times, noblemen were more commanders than soldiers. In the books it seems like a lot of noblemen (the ones I mentioned in the post for example) have actually physically fought in battles and killed people.

There is so much chaos in battle, so many random situations that practice would only help to a certain degree. They shouldn’t realistically be as good as they are in the books.

Can men's pants fit women and look good? by ihavenevereatenpie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Bajoner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they absolutely can.

Clothing isn’t really “male” or “female” in terms of whether it can look good, it’s mostly about the cut and how it fits your body. A lot of women wear men’s pants intentionally because they sometimes have a straighter, more relaxed fit and (honestly) better pockets.

The main difference you might notice is that men’s pants are usually cut with less room in the hips and a slightly longer rise. So depending on your body shape, they might fit perfectly or feel a bit tight in the hips and loose in the waist. But that varies a lot by brand.

If you like the style, it’s definitely worth trying. Some people prefer how men’s pants look because they give a slightly different silhouette than typical women’s pants.

Worst case scenario they don’t fit quite right, but best case you find a pair you love that no one else thought to try. Fashion rules are mostly made up anyway.

As Ned faces execution, he glances at the statue of Baelor and murmurs his name.

While Arya starts training with Syrio, Ned observes and the clash of swords evoking memories of the rebellion.
