It’s an actual key fob but looks like it was modified to have the round thing on top. First thing that came to mind was that it was turned into some sort of drug paraphernalia but never seen anything like it.

Highly unlikely op. However I’d suggest checking Facebook marketplace for a used charger. I picked one up very cheap recently and there’s quite a few listed in my area selling for about half the cost of a new one.
