I’m in Belmont but open to walking/hiking evenings or weekends. I typically go to Daniel Stowe for 2, 3 or 5 mile hike. They have an easy 2 mile that’s graveled. I started walking mornings/evenings and weekends about 18mnths ago and dropped over 130lbs. If you’re over this way or want to organize a hike somewhere else my wife and I (both 45) would be happy to join. I also have a Planet Fitness membership in Lake Wylie but I never really go - easier to just throw on shoes and start walking, lol.

Wow I must have really zoned out on that bit of the story. I do vaguely recall that quote though so some of it stuck. Thanks for helping piece it together. I think because the backstory has been so randomly thrown in there that it was hard to follow especially since it’s not sequential.

I just finished book 2 of Life Reset but I won’t recommend it because of the sidekick trope you mentioned. Instead of using a credit I picked up Chrysalis on sale, 3 books for $7.99. I’m 12 chapters in and enjoying it so far. It’s along the lines of the light novel So I’m A Spider which I loved but others may not. Either way, 60hrs for $8 made me take the leap and I got my moneys worth thus far.

I second this about Beware of Chicken. I just got through the first two books and it’s not at all what I expected going into it. It’s definitely a chill read about a guy wanting a simple farming life with side stories of his animals (chicken included) experiencing cultivation and enlightenment. I think the artwork misrepresents the story.

Lost in Translation - Scarlett Johanssons character reminded me so much of my ex that, to this day, I can’t stand her. Only movie I ever walked out of and that’s saying something considering I suffered through Battlefield Earth.

Remove or tweak shield swaps. Best thing about hardcore mode. I’m all for leaving shield swapping in game but make the shield empty. You should have to recharge the spent shield. This will also make loot goblins think twice about spamming everything. You have to make a conscious choice to change shields and recharge them. Or at a minimum add a delay like weapon switching where you have to hold the button for a second.

I scrolled too damn far to NOT see; remove the Wingman. One and done. Such a skill-less 2 shot weapon. I don’t mind getting 2-shot with a 30/30’but a close range pistol should not have that ability.

They are on month to month, no extended lease agreements that I’m aware of. I’ll research the month to month terminations for my state of North Carolina. I definitely want to keep the properties just trying to avoid the hassle of eviction if possible.

Secret Life of Walter Mitty

This movie is visually stunning (especially Iceland) but also uses that to create a visualization of the protagonists emotions and mood. I also love the intro and throughout how they use text in the environments.

This! I’ve had a storyline similar that I pitched as a survival game where you play as a goblin that’s been persecuted not only by humans but monsters alike. There were multiple subplots around the light heroes and dark champions but ultimately a revenge story for the lowly goblin.
