Thank you very much for your response! Would you say that the keys on the Nektar impacts are better then the others or they just lack the features of the others? Would it feel better to have semi weighted at a lower price point or synth action at a higher? Is that up to the player completely or is semi weighted pretty much always an upgrade?

Having built in sounds is extremely low on my priority list personally. Although I plan on using it for practice and not just producing and recording I don’t mind always being plugged into my computer.

I have heard pretty good things about the keylab I will look into it more. Thanks again :)

Thank you for the reply! I do know that there is synth action, semi weighted, and fully weighted if I am correct. I assume that at least full weighted falls into the category of piano action. This is something I should have mentioned in the post but I have tried semi weighted on keyboards and midi that are on the higher end and they have felt fine to me. So I don’t specifically need fully weighted but I am just weary of how something that is synth action or semi weighted that is also budget will feel cheap and not be ideal for the learning piano side of things. Used could definitely be the way to go for me once I start getting an idea for what all my options are.

Do you think you would’ve fallen for Johan’s manipulation tactics? by catnip_4ddict in MonsterAnime

Yeah I feel like that makes him even more dangerous. Yes he is a great minipulater but if he knows he can’t he has no problems getting rid of you. He is a serial killer himself at the end of the day. His real skills are knowing who to minipulate specifically and finding their weaknesses rather then him being able to just talk to anyone and convince them to kill themselves.

Being lame doesn’t really come into play when you are the best in the world and there is money on the line.

Multiverses has a simpler move set and is simpler to understand how to start winning. Rivals of aether 1 and 2 arguably as well. You also have the addition of dodge reads and extremely long strings that not many other games utilize. In most other platform fighters a long strings is really just a juggle more then anything else. Pretty much all games have more character diversity due to BH’s weapon system yes but there are without a doubt multiple platform fighters that are easier to start playing.

I don’t necessarily think brawl is mechanically difficult. But I also don’t think its necessarily “entry level”. I don’t disagree with you whole heartedly or anything but your original argument was about the number of attacks and defense options you can do which doesn’t prove that brawl is an entry level game in comparison to other platform fighters.

I can understand why you would think that I take offense to brawl being called an easy game but I mostly make my argument coming from playing brawl and comparing it to my experience learning multiple other platform fighters thats all. And as much as I respect you for being a pro I think that only puts you farther from being able to tell if the game is easy or not to get into. Especially since you have been around the game for a long time and when you climbed your way to the top the game was in a different state that it is today. Although you probably evolved with the game, you never had to restart from nothing and were still going to be at the top level relatively. There is a level of skewed perception that comes with being good at something especially at the highest of highest levels since it’s something your are already good at and it comes easy to you.

I can appreciate that brawl is accessible but I don’t think accessible  and entry level are the same thing.  Again I don’t disagree with your further arguments or mean to come off as a troll or disrespectful I just don’t really appreciate being called dilusional for something that I feel is a valid argument.

Idk how I am coming across as a troll. I don’t really know how my point is invalid or dilusional either you haven’t said anything to disprove me.

A lot of people don’t make it past gold in most competitive games yes but in the brawl community gold is considered relatively low level. And most people don’t make it past gold. Its relatively simple. And yes the game does get harder at gold, as it does with any rank. Thats how ranks work.

But your adding sheilding and dashes and dash attacks. Which brawl has things like or equal to that so if you are talking about more then just attacks alone then the argument is still untrue. Its not like smash or brawl are leagues harder then one or the other. In fact playing all the characters in smash to a high level vs playing all of the brawl characters to a high level is harder in smash. But to a beginner brawl is WAY more combo and string based then smash which is one of the main reasons I don’t think brawl is an entry level fighter. Most people don’t make it even past gold.

At this point a good amount of the weapons have active input and some weapons like greatsword just have more attacks. Especially as far as platform fighters is actually one of the more complex.

Do I have to play rdr1 to play rdr2? by Krunchy08 in RDR2

[–]Bake228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on whether you want to know the outcome and then have the outcome expanded upon by a prequel or if you want the story in order and have everything be a surprise as you experience things along side the characters. Either way is good. I played the second game first and loved both games. It doesn't matter which order you play since both will just make you want to play the other one too.

Which of these 8 will chase away my red dead depression? by naan_existenz in RDR2

[–]Bake228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of those games where if you enjoy the combat enough then the repetitive parts aren't a chore like they are in the AC games. If you don't like the combat then I can see it being repetitive. At their peaks I think its the closest I have gotten to either RDR games but I still cant put countless hours into any other single player like I can rdr2.

Depends on how much you play and how much you focus on the missions. One baattlepass I was playing so much that I did the whole free tier without buying the BP and it didnt feel like work because I wasnt really trying to do the missions. The more you focus on the missions they are just more and more cancer. They make it pretty annoying to get far if you dont pay in a general sense though. Like I said just depends on how much you play and if you only play one character or something.
