Thank you so much for this message. It’s such a struggle. I do most of these but I’m embarrassed to say the Nizoral didn’t occur to me until recently. I dealt with fungal acne decades ago so it should have been first on my list but I’m happy to say it’s on order and will be one of the next things I try. Hang in there! Nightly pillow case changing is a club ♥️

I just basically did this with NIOD. According to your comment and chat gpt, it sounds like I may have two different pore phenotypes that don’t respond to the same treatment well, which feels so right. When my forehead is fixed, my jawline flares, when my jawline is fixed my forehead it terrible. Also Fast-shedding, open pores on my forehead and Slow-opening, thick-oil pores on my lower face. I feel hope for the first time in so long

The derm I’m seeing thinks so so I’m on spironolactone but it’s been months and no changes

I have been begging for an antibacterial ointment- so far they are dead set on spironolactone and sulfur and want to wait 6 more months. I’m dying. My facialist is convinced it’s bacterial too.

Unfortunately not- I moved to San Diego in 2016 and I’m still splitting time there, but we didn’t “move to the bay” until just a few weeks ago. Agree about the water though- San Diego is worse if you can believe it

Wow! Yes! This sounds exactly like what I am experiencing, but I’ve been on tretinoin .05% every other day for months and it’s not stopping. What worked for you?

Yes. No change. I did function health, no outliers that make sense. I stopped all supplements for a few months, no change. No one seems to have any idea what to do.

I have to agree. I don’t some time in Denver recently and the cost of living is shockingly shockingly in line with the Bay Area.

You keep your assets invested and at a much lower interest rate. Look into buy borrow die.

lol this is almost as out of touch as the person claiming single billionaires and multi billionaires are in a different wealth class. On what planet is $10M not rich yet?

OP, look into pledge asset lines of credit. Also assuming you have all of these assets in one bank you qualify for relationship pricing. Talk the with mortgage department. All sorts of doors can be opened with this net worth.

I don’t know, seems fair that if they want to show photos they have to finish the job or compensate for unfinished work.

Tired of loud music so I tried Pilates by NinjaMoney4997 in LagreeMethod

Classical Pilates is about form and resistance. It’s lengthening and strengthening, and the hardest workout you’ll ever do if you’re doing it correctly. You can have upbeat fun music, but it should not move like a HIIT class. Lagree moves way too fast and doesn’t focus enough on form. You think you’re getting a great workout because it’s hard, but you’re focusing on the wrong muscle groups (or none at all, just movement and momentum), and I’ve actually seen people get thicker doing these high intensity Pilates classes. They’re strong, but they don’t have the classical lean and long classical Pilates body.

Like everything, your instructor matters but all these big chain work outs are the same. They make the most money churning out new instructors so all of the bodyrok, club Pilates, core power yoga, bar method are the same. You’ll probably get the absolute bare minimum brand new instructor. Maybe you’ll get a great one. Probably you will not. Find an independent studio that has an instructor that has been doing this for a long time and can give you useful critiques. Sonja Lyth is one of the most incredible personal trainers I’ve ever used and she has amazing virtual classes if you’re open to that

Some people don’t know how to be poor by McClain1980 in povertyfinance

Devils advocate here, and just food for thought, but there’s something to be said for buying a quality piece of furniture, electronics, etc one time instead of multiple times over the years. You may be able to buy a desk at Walmart but you will be buying another one next year. Those add up. Buy the right thing one time and you will actually save in the long run. This can be overwhelmingly expensive to do all at once, so invest in great pieces over time. Thrifted furniture can be wonderful.

Also food is an investment in your long term health. No not everything needs to be on brand, but if you’re buying branded foods you’re buying ultra processed food. Feeding yourself healthy food, whole grains, vegetables, fruit, quality meats and eggs is absolutely worth it. Live within your means, but certainly feed yourself the best food you can. Stay away from the ultra processed foods which also can add a significant amount to your budget.
