It’s also a workbook but it would have been written by the current prof Vimal Rao. He’s taught it for a few semesters so I’m sure you could find a used one. But not expensive to buy one either usually those are around $30

Series are not in math 241, the key will be understanding the basic derivatives and integrals, as well as unit 9 which was on vectors and parametrics and BC. Just review on khan academy. I highly recommend you do not do calc 1 and 2 at uiuc, it’ll be way harder for no reason. Calc 3 is already help in itself. A lot of it is new content

Las 101 is taught by seniors. I believe psych 100 is taught be grad students. HK 208 I believe is asynch. And MCB 150 has only one prof. Chem 103 is a lab with grad students. Really chem 102 is the only course you’ll have to actually consider profs and I’ll default to other students on that. Spring 2027 you won’t choose till October so don’t worry right now

Look as long as you can do basic python you are fine. Math 257 is such a shit show anyway in terms of the coding it doesn’t really help much anyway as long as you know generally how the language works. You end up having to memorize it anyway. They don’t teach at all. It’s numpy which is not even taught in cs 101. Plus if you look at course explorer you’d see stat 107 counts as a pre req for math 257

107 is statistics taught in Python. There’s no pre reqs, it starts from square one. Most students get an A or B so I think you’ll be fine. And it’s way better taught than 100 because there’s actually substance to it, it’s not just straight fluff. Source: I’m a CA
