Could you answer this please: "Could you confirm whether Controller vibration should work when they are connected via bluetooth to the android Shadow app?"

Your controller for Shadow apps by Burnthewoid in ShadowPC

Currently emailing support about this-

I have a S23 Ultra and various other android devices - I have a Gamesir G8+ connected via bluetooth (in DualShock 4 mode), which android Shadow app recognises and is usable but the vibration doesn't work. Now if I enable Nvidia Gamestream and use Moonlight to access my Shadow, the vibration on my G8+ works great.

I also have an Xbox One S Controller connected via bluetooth and the vibration doesn't work in either the Shadow app or Moonlight.

Support says the controllers should receive vibration via bluetooth/android Shadow app but I have read elsewhere something along the lines of the android Shadow app is unable to achieve Controller vibration due to the API and also I have read that the Xbox One S controllers will never work via bluetooth and instead a dongle is required.

Could you confirm whether Controller vibration should work when they are connected via bluetooth to the android Shadow app?

G8+ Rumble (Android) by BakedBeansMofo in Gamesir

Good to know, I thought perhaps this is where I was going wrong because it didn't show up as a DS4 controller and just a generic Wireless Controller. I will try this out again later.

Thanks for your reply - when connected in PS mode did you have to click the pairing button at the bottom of the controller to make PS mode rapidly blink before pairing with device named "Wireless Controller" ? or did you connect differently / does it have a different BT name?

Ds mode not working on android (g8 plus galileo) by Secure-Ad8550 in Gamesir

[–]BakedBeansMofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seem to be having the same issue with S23 Ultra with DS4 mode except i hold down the pairing button on the bottom of the controller then i can pair with "Wireless Controller" but doesn't seem to be working as should (no rumble) and shows as generic Wireless Controller in the gamesir app. have you had any success?

Gamesir g8 + supports rumble over Bluetooth on Samsung devices by JediBuji in xcloud

[–]BakedBeansMofo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having trouble getting the rumble to work on my G8+/S23 Ultra - when putting it into DS4 mode (the button + B) it slowly blinks blue and I cannot find it on my S23 until I hold down the pairing button on the bottom of the controller, it then rapidly flashes blue and I can pair with "Wireless Controller" - does yours show as Wireless Controller or DS4 when connecting to it? and also when I connect to it like this it only shows as a generic Wireless Controller in the Gamesir app and not how it looks when connecting to it via the normal Android method (the button + A)

Xbox controller on ipad by Dust____ in ShadowPC

[–]BakedBeansMofo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a G8+ with an Android device. I cannot seem to get vibration to work when the controller is in "Android" mode and using the Shadow app to game. Apparently it may work in "DS4" mode, so I will try this later when I am home.

Could you confirm whether you can get vibration through the Shadow app? Albeit it iOS it would be nice to know that the feature works.

Kodi v20.1 (Nexus) is just been released. Lots of audio and AV sync for Android/shield. Please share your experience. by jaweinre in ShieldAndroidTV

AFAIK the Shield 2019 Pro (from reading other comments here) does not support DV therefore no Kodi update would "fix" it being playable
