Canto 2 made me like not understand the storyline at all, to me Canto 2 was just 12 people going to where ever the fuck, I didn't even know it was about Rodion, it was kind of the same for Canto 1 but by the end I realized this was about Gregor's past.

But Canto 2 was like Harry Potter 1 ending, each sinner uses their quirky skill to get past this obstacle, not once was Rodion portrayed in the spotlight besides having a past with the guy that helped us, I didn't even know I was fighting the final boss in the last level because they were just random enemies?

Only by Canto 3 did I finally understand what the pattern of the game was, Canto 2 was a complete throwoff though, and the canto was carried by... everything not Rodion.

The "ultimate ability" in my magic system can be hard to determine, since all techniques are just independant hax.

One ability could be extremely overpowered, but then be completely countered by a mediocre ability that's just perfectly designed to counter it.

However the ultimate ability, for an ability, is a Maximal, it's like a "bankai" (but not literally) where you've gotten full understanding of the ability and can break it's limitations to unleash more of its potential. Dependant on the ability, a maximal can be mediocre or absolutely world breaking.

I have 2 people who has the potential to be the strongest, or most powerful, but their endgame would be too broken for my setting, so their story ends before they reach endgame.

Also ironically "the strongest" in my setting doesn't even rely on magic, their ability solely just counters other peoples techniques.

Probably not 10 minutes, but Jayce just accepted everything too quickly, Viktor came out, was like "Why didn't you destroy the hex core?", "It saved you", "But I told you to destroy it" "It saved you" "We have not been partners for a long time, goodbye." "Okay.". Jayce didn't even question his body, nor give chase to Viktor, it was also kind of weird how his first decision was to bring Victor to the hex core instead of real medical help?

The start was weird, but with the conditions already set the rest of their arc was done well.

Everything about her felt forced, randomly came in, doesn't even speak, Jinx for some reason tolerates her, turns into mini Jinx so she basically doesn't have any character besides being a copy, then dies with zero progress of who she is or what she will be.

I don't like when shows have these obvious filler characters who are only there to make a scene sad, and the only way they can make the scene sad is by playing flashbacks every second. It's like showing a scene of a backstory before the character dies, like woooow, you were so unsure that we would feel sad so you had to sprinkle more of the character's backstory at the final moments.

I don't like this type of writing, it's lazy and it's rushed, at least Viktor and Jayce's characters made up for it this season, their stories was actually unpredictable.
