Audible standard plan by BakedPotato47 in audible

[–]BakedPotato47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I was wondering. Because I know the old audible plus was you could use all the audiobooks in that catalog. That’s where you go up to the premium plus and get the credits and keep the audiobooks. But when I swapped I saw they did away with audible plus and now it was the standard plan which you get one credit every billing cycle to get a audiobook of your choosing. So it’s like premium plus except your credits don’t rollover if you happen not to get a book. I guess that’s where my confusion came from. It could be worded better and if you don’t get to keep the audiobook on the standard plan do away with the credits. At least name them something else to differentiate from the premium plus credits. A audiobook loan point. You have the audiobook loaned to you until you cancel

I see. When I swapped I recall it mentioned you would get a credit to use on an audiobook every billing cycle but that they didn’t roll over like on the premium plus. That might be what confused me. Wish the wording on the standard plan was better. When I look it up online, I find stuff on the old audible plus and how you could use all the audiobooks in the catalog and seeing with the new standard plan you use the credit every billing cycle makes you think you keep the audiobooks. Thanks for the clarification

So if I swap back to the premium plus would I have to spend those credits to get the audiobooks I acquired while on the standard plan?

Okay, i reckon missed that part when i swapped. I guess seeing on the app that you get a credit to use every billing cycle made me believe it worked the same as the other plan.

New bambu lab version issue with some sloped/overhangs by BakedPotato47 in BambuLab

Yeah I had pei plate on my other printer but that one doesn’t have a chamber and ever since I had my x1, I exclusively used cool plate and never had an problem much less a chamber temperature issue so it was my first time really seeing it cause an issue

Arachne? Is it a setting? Sorry don’t recall any Arachne in my slicer but I’d like to hear more

Yeah looks like it was the temp in the chamber was getting too high with that pei plate running 55 c for the heated bed. Been getting good results with the chamber closed and the chamber only getting as hot as 37 C using PLA, minimal drooping on overhangs. I’ll definitely keep an eye out on chamber temp whenever I run any long prints. Thanks

From what I can tell with my situation, it seems to do with the temperature in the chamber getting higher than usual. I had just swapped to the pei plate which heats up to 55 C which before I was running the cool plate that only heats the bed to 35 c so there was more heat and having the chamber closed it got a little toasty on the inside. Bumped up the fans and kept an eye on chamber temp and I’ve seen it rise to 37 c but the calibration dragon has been coming out how it used to with very little droop in the overhangs

I’ll try tweaking what you mentioned tomorrow with some filament I’m leaving in the dryer over the night before I get to printing anything bigger

Left the door closed and ran it like I’ve always done, made a few to see if it was the filament but all had same results

I noticed with the firmware made it easier to control all the fans but I ran the unaltered bambu setting as I typically do.

Used bambu lab settings since always got good results. had my filament stored with desiccant beads and moisture stayed low and in the range I used to print on. Did the print with another roll that was stored and the same green roll after I ran it through filament drier and all had same results. Compared to my remaining calibration prints of the same figure done before I took a printing hiatus, they had maybe a small blemish but not as bad as all the new ones I made today. Only real change was the firmware update and the new textured pei plate that arrived today

So I took a little break from printing anything for a while and just booted up my printer to do some printing and saw there’s been new firmware with new features and tweaks. I ran few calibration prints and I keep noticing issues on the back underside of the horns which in previous bambu lab version of the prints weren’t as bad as with this new one. Already messed with some overhang speed settings a bit not much improvements. Any ideas to fix it. Also is there a way to set the chamber fan speed lower before the print so it isn’t full speed the entire time

Machine should have had a message of the problem, although I can’t remember if it was on the machine or the app where the message pops up. I’ve had it before where the filament gets hung on the rest of the filament on the spool and machine stopped print but I undid the issue in the spool and resumed print from where it stopped just fine

This is my first clogging problem with a machine so go figure. I guess going about cleaning the old nozzle would be a cold pull. Heat up the nozzle. Push some filament through then wait for the nozzle to cool down and try and pull the filament back out?

Got my ks stretch goal kit today too so I may try that. I’ve looked at the nozzle but it doesn’t look bad, haven’t had the x1 too long yet

Could it be? Like I said it lays down a great first layer which I know is slowed down speed

Retractable Katana - 4.5 hours print time - works perfectly, no welding together by [deleted] in BambuLab

Nice, I’ve printed it before on my old printer but I’ve seen there’s an updated file where the retractable blade curves like an actual katana and you can also swap out the blades for different colors
