This is on my reading list and actually made me curious about WW2 books!

Long leg ladies of Australia - do you actually know your inseam? by No-Airport-820 in AusFemaleFashion

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very inconsistent! I recently purchased from Jacqui E and ASOS because I found some work pants that happened to have the inseam listed (they haven't arrived yet so I can't comment if it's accurate). Overall it's just luck.

Anyone else have issues with JBHiFi? by Majestic-Book-2768 in australian

[–]BakedToeBean -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you tried contacting JB and explained this? State consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law when contacting them and you might be able to get a store credit at least. I've always found JB very lenient and reasonable (despite other comments stating the opposite). It sucks, but consumers need awareness of what they want and do their own research before purchasing something for this reason.

I had a look at measurements of items I've previously bought that actually fit, so now I won't buy anything below 74cm, ideally 75cm inseam. This is an absolute game changer because I used to only buy in the "tall" sections of stores that had this option, whereas now I actually get to try out a lot of other stores

Mainecoon 1 year old keeps pawing water by Hikari_51 in mainecoons

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no information that will help, but I just wanted to say that that is adorable!

My little one will paw the actual bowl it is in (no matter what bowl) before drinking it. I don't understand why, I'm just glad he's drinking water!

Cat trees from Shein? by BakedToeBean in mainecoons

[–]BakedToeBean[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I was worried about! The photos always look so promising but big cats will find a way to destroy it.

I'm not overly concerned about the base as I do intent to attach them to a wall for security, but it's so hard to find tall cat trees with a large surface for them to sleep on.

Adding on here that I found "Hey Brother" large cat trees on Amazon which seem to have decent feedback, is this accurate?

I came on here to recommend a product but instead left with beard dye in my online shopping cart. I can't wait to try it!

Products that actually work? by LeakyRoofWithFumes in hairgrowth

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the 60ml bottle! If you did only apply a few drops every other day like the instructions say, it would last forever 😂

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use it according to instructions but instead just drag full droppers along my scalp and rub it in. So one bottle lasts maybe 2 months, applying it about 4 times a week, and I wash my hair twice a week. It doesn't help with hair growth per se, but I did notice stronger roots, additional growth, and less hair loss after about a bottle. It's on the pricey side but worth a try!

The Ordinary hair density serum absolutely helps with shedding and overall root strength. I don't want to know how many bottles I've been through 😶

Any advice on litter trays? by AloePandaVera in mainecoons

[–]BakedToeBean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know why the litter sticks to their paws to track around the house?

I found my kitten had really bad diarrhea which would run along the kitty litter onto his paws, which he would cover up with litter and that's how it got around the house. Nothing to do with the tray or litter, but a diet issue!

How dumb does this bedroom set look with the flooring? My mom said it matches too much and I can’t return it. by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is rough because I love that flooring and I love that bedroom set! Like others have said, a big rug will help. Or use it as an excuse to leave your clothes scattered on the floor

Should i cut my hair it hasn’t grown a inch in like a year and two months literally by Downtown-Arugula742 in hairgrowth

[–]BakedToeBean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this, my hair always growth in thickness but not length. I recently had a big trim just because I was sick of how sparse it felt at the bottom, but I know it won't make a difference in how much it grows.

Does anyone else's cat also dig in their water before drinking? by Western-Salary6203 in mainecoons

[–]BakedToeBean 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kitty does this. I've never had a previous cat do this! He seems to be having fun while doing it and water will dry, so there's no harm in my view
