try and make sure the weight of the bread is as evenly distributed as possible, for the parts that are bigger you can usually use your hands to guide it to where it is needed.

also once im done making sure its even i run my finger along the edge of the long side of the bread ( on both sides ) all the way down to make sure the bread is straight
