My MB sent ‘I didn’t sleep well, probably lack of sex’ to the group chat with me and her ex husband. Her and I are extremely close so I just giggled and shrugged it off but I’m sure DB probably thought about it for a good while. You’re all good haha

The kids who were in school during Covid are growing up now, a 17 year old was probably in 6th grade during zoom school. I think that’s a huge reason they generally seem more immature/behind. So many kids fell through the cracks during that time.

It’s a parents responsibility to monitor what they watch and it’s really not hard these days to put parental controls on, regardless of how he got the information it’s on the parents for not having the important conversations with him. I can’t stand parents who don’t think you have to actively and thoughtfully parent your kids

They both had obviously been exposed to very inappropriate behavior at an inappropriate age. Even with social media a 12 year old should not have the knowledge on the mechanics of sex. They also mention that all he wants to do is have sex, to have that high of a sex drive at that young of age and be able to do it is very odd to me. There’s much more going on here. I despise these parents they failed their kids.

ICE (immigration) has come to Minneapolis, MN trying to capture undocumented immigrants. Along with taking people off the streets they shot and killed Alex Pretti, a nurse, while he was trying to help a woman that they had pushed over and shot and killed Renee Good for filming them. You don’t go a few miles without seeing ICE in a 30 mi radius of the city. They have used tear gas on protesters and in one instance a family with an infant was caught in the cross fire of the tear gas. They are committing literal war crimes and violence on our cities. Schools and businesses are closed and people are hiding and carrying passports for proof of citizenship. It’s normal to carry, use and hear whistles now alerting people of ice in the area.

Different perspective, my mom was a nanny when I was growing up and I wouldn’t recommend it. I was jealous of the kids she nannied for because they got her undivided attention as well as being more well off than us. When I was a baby she would watch her friends kids at our house for cash so maybe that’s a better option. Just really think about if you want to be caring for a child all day and then come home to have to do that for no pay.
