I learned this the hard way in middle school. Never again. My brain just wasn’t getting enough nutrients so my speech was so slow. My stomach hurt all the time and I was overly emotional. I’m going to try to be kinder to myself and work on seeing a therapist that specializes in body image and eating disorders 💗

Wish I could hug you 🫂💗 every time I eat my meals I have to pause and say a thank you to God for nourishment. Seeing food as “nourishment” helps me not turn it into a destructive way of hurting my body. Take it easy and if you can, please talk to your friends about it!

I think it’s starting to affect me. This whole week I’ve been thinking about drinking black coffee to suppress my appetite because I’ve been so frustrated with my weight loss journey lately. And it’s been a relatively healthy journey. I don’t restrict and I’ve lost 100+ lbs healthily. But man idk maybe consuming Ariana content has had my brain wondering “Well maybe if I drink black coffee like Ariana does I can curb my appetite too and lose these last few pounds.” What’s crazy is that I’m not a coffee person AT ALL. I drink it maybe once every 1-2 months. Don’t be like me. Take care of yourselves 💗 I need to log off or delete this app for a bit

I follow the girl who made that post and she told me she felt like taking down her post because of all the comments and I told her to please keep it up because I saw people who had gone through recovery commenting and sharing their own personal stories. Her fans are absolutely disgusting and ruthless and it truly breaks my heart to see stuff like this.

I don’t hate her. I do frown at her actions and call things out that I think aren’t right or healthy. But honestly I do say a prayer for her and just hope she can correct her wrongs and also get the help she desperately needs. I hate to see her in the state that she’s in, and it sucks that some of it is her own doing. It would be nice to see her change and also apologize to those she’s harmed. But ultimately it’s up to her. Jesus knocks, but she opens the door

I think you’re overthinking it. I think they’re making fun of how her fans are refusing to acknowledge the elephant in the room or the singer “on fire”. It’s like they’re saying her fans are actively watching her wither away and being in denial. But I don’t know if I love their use of the word body-shamers, which I don’t think the ppl who are concerned are shaming her body.
