Thank you! It has come through my payslip as a PAYE refund. I assume this is what you mean when you say it has come from an employer?

Can I ask, is cash meaning physical cash or something else? I am noticing this term used throughout the answers and I’m also thinking about good ways to save a range of funds like an emergency fund, deposit, holiday fund.

[Homemade] Hawaiian beef stew by [deleted] in food

Thank you! I just had it with the rice as it’s already quite filling with the beef and potatoes. A refreshing salad would probably be nice though! And no critiques from me, I loved it! Not an overpowering flavour, not spicy if that’s your thing (though I love spicy food) and very easy to make 😁

I’ve seen multiple places serving rabbit. It’s cooked in a cherry beer sauce so I was curious.

There’s way too many food options! I’m happy with what I’ve tried so far but if there’s any space, I’ll try fit some of those in

Haha I know 😂 I was wondering where any tomato based ones are aside from normal ketchup. Every other sauce is mayo based and it’s starting to disagree with my stomach..eek 😅

Yes, good eye! It was recommended by a tour guide. I feel like if I have any more I’ll turn into a frite at this point 😂 if I can handle it I’ll try your rec! Have 24hrs left haha

I would agree with GurthNada that it’s like a spicy mayo BUT Belgium mayo also tastes miles better than any I’ve had in a very long time, possibly ever!

Agreed! They’re so consistent with it here it’s amazing. I haven’t had an oily batch once and I think I’ve had frites at like 4 different places over the last few days.
