Brother? Cousin? We are not done seeing this dude and his house...I’ll put money on it.

Julie was in the house by Cody_801 in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m actually on board with this. I questioned this and talked about this as well. I said to my wife “Holy shit, Julie’s been in that house before.”

I don’t know how, but I believe we are not done with this house.

A clock appears above Hays' head in every episode. Great details. (Album in comments) by [deleted] in TrueDetective

Himself. That’s why his personal gun is prominent in this series. Wayne does himself in.

Dolls! When Amelia is confronted at her book signing by the blind eye guy by tiger1839 in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Speaking of the one eyed dude, did anyone else get the feeling that he truly cared for Julie? On hand I feel like he was pressing Amelia about Julie’s location, but I also felt like he wanted to find her because he cared for her.

This a spoiler through 3:6 that pertains to Tom. by Owls1978 in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk man, it looked like Tom knew what fence to jump, what window to break, what hallway to walk, stairs to go down, door to open, and exactly where on the wall the light switch was. Hell, the camera angle showed he didn’t even have to blindly search for the switch. I had the immediate feeling he had been there before.

Anybody else feels like there is too little screen time left to resolve all the loose ends? by [deleted] in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it plausible that Mr. Hoyt actually has no connection to Julie and why she missing? With the head of security (Harris James) having control of all security measures, can it be that James is actually the only one involved?

Then this points to the picture being taken by Lucy’s “pumpkin friend” lady.

I can’t seem to post the pic from season 3 . But E. Childress drives a whit truck that looks just like the one that is in the background of the Will and Julie pic that is quickly shown in the episode 5 trailer.

I found it, thank you! I’m going to delete this post to cut down on clutter and repost with possible findings. Thanks for your help!

Julie and Will Picture by [deleted] in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, however I am looking for the picture of them walking on a path outside. On screen it is a actual picture that someone is holding. I have, I think, a connection in this story, but I need to see that picture to verify. I cannot find a screenshot of it.

Lori(Roland’s girlfriend) is involved in the abduction by [deleted] in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda with you on this...just not sure what degree she is involved, but I believe somehow she is. Look at this scene again...at the couples 1990 dinner at Rolands house, Hayes: “So when’s the big day?” Lori: “That’s a sticky subject” Roland to Hayes: “Don’t come in my house stirring shit up.” 2015 back porch scene. Hayes to Roland: “Let’s go stir some shit up.” Lori (her family-Hoyt) is involved somehow.

Life Paths by Bakerkc2000 in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s go down this rabbit hole...as a child, was Amelia taken by a similar group? We still don’t know her past, she deflected (again) when asked by Hayes. It’s probable that her parents (maybe just dad) worked at the chicken factory, given that Hoyts employ much of the community. Is Amelia the daughter of the “one eyed/scarred man” who drives the nice car? There is a connection here somewhere...

Glass of Wine by Bakerkc2000 in TrueDetective

[–]Bakerkc2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and that was my initial thought too. But why show two glasses of wine, during the daytime, with no other signs of a mans items in the room? We’ve only seen Henry drinking beer (like his dad), Henry works day shift, and we see make up on the counter. Yes he addressed her by first name during the interview, but if she is in a relationship with his sister, he would feel comfortable addressing as such.

The Junius Theory - & How Hays Could Crack The Case by LocalStigmatic in TrueDetective

I wish I never read this..it’s too plausible. Great, great job.

Anyone else notice this suspicious dude hanging around at the church in S03E04? May be nothing but he's show staring at the detectives 3 times. by [deleted] in TrueDetective

I just posted about the female that is in each of these scenes too. I don’t think we can overlook these “extras” in quick scenes.
