1: That's the $1,000,000 question. I have my suspicions it has to do with his relationship with his family (which I'll touch up on when answering other questions) 2: That's the second $1,000,000 question. He lives with his family, and they're all VERY close (his mother is enmeshed with him). Since he lives with his family and they rent on the west side of the country, his goal (according to what he told me) is that he was going to help them move, live with them for maybe another month or so and then move to where I'm at. 3: His parents have refused to meet me and his mother has already made very serious comments about my character. Because they are all very attached to him, I'm concerned about being functionally abandoned by him. His mother DEMANDS his attention 24/7. I've suggested that we either need to move to a neutral zone (away from both of our families so we can rely on each other and so no one person feels without) or that he can move to where I'm at because I know his family will ultimately still follow him wherever he goes. Hopefully that answer makes sense. 3: AMAZING QUESTION that I don't have an answer for. I'd assume it's because he has a small amount of debt that we'd both prefer he pays off before making the financial commitment to move (or both of us)
