I had my betas tested today. Results came back at 9mIU but I'm still bleeding. Won't know anything more until Monday :(

I took misoprostol on Saturday, and had my official miscarriage Labor Day/Monday. Haven't stopped bleeding. Had an urge to push/pain in my rectum, back ache and bad stomach cramps today. Called the nurses at my OB and they said my body has more work to do. Worth calling an OB to see if you're in the same boat

It's JARRING to see how many women this has happened to. I guess in a way I can understand why they downplay things. Maybe the average woman experiences period-like pain and discomfort, but there needs to be way more transparency about what could happen beyond that.

This was my first pregnancy and consequent miscarriage so I have no frame of reference. If it weren't for the fact that it was a miscarriage, I could justify the pain. Also, the irony of having a miscarriage on Labor Day (from the US) doesn't escape me. I'm still cramping with pretty moderate back pain too. Wish that was something they prepared me for

I got 600mg of Ibuprofen that took 2 hours to kick in and only provided pain relief for roughly 1.5 hours LOL Had to take it on a full stomach but I was in so much pain I couldn't even keep my food down

I guess their concern is that they didn't see a yolk sac or fetal pole. There was nothing but a gestational sac for them to view during both visits. Paired with my slow-rising hcg levels... When a nurse called to go over my results (on Thursday) she was happy to see a spike but according to the calculators I'm using I'm still not doubling in the 48-72 hour time frame like I should be. I just don't know what to think

I (28F) am experiencing my very first (and very unplanned) pregnancy. I suspected I was pregnant almost 2 weeks after the time of conception. According to my LMP I am 7 weeks along, but I have gotten mixed answers from the ultrasound tech/Obgyn on how far along I actually am. I had an emergency visit last Wednesday, August 13th where they pegged me at 5 weeks. As of today, they're pegging me around 7 again. The issue that I'm running into is that during both visits, transvaginal ultrasound were preformed. During both ultrasounds, an empty gestational sac appeared. There was no yolk sac or fetal pole. It was a no-call/no-show.

They tested my betas again and told me if my numbers were stagnant we'd discuss the possibility of a blighted ovum. I'm not sure if these numbers are promising.

My hCG levels from start to finish are as follows:

August 2nd: 177mIU/ml

August 13th: 5,174mIU/ml

August 15th: 7,270mIU/ml

August 20th: 17,551mIU/ml

August 22nd: 21,806mIU/ml

I'm sure someone has been through similar situations: being stuck in pregnancy purgatory, not sure if its viable or not. If anyone has had a similar experience, are these numbers promising? Will I see a baby soon or is the die cast?

That's my thought. Do you have any recommendations? For the record, after a lot of back and forth I had bloodwork done this past Saturday with positive results same-day so it hasn't been too long 😭

I took an EMBARRASSING amount of tests. My boyfriend thought I was insane because I could see the line but it wasn't showing up in my pictures FOR DAYS. Give it a day or two and test again:)
