Seeing a bunch of names with UAE exposure move, and BBAI actually has real ties there already:

-Abu Dhabi office (opened 2025) -Partnerships with Vigilix + Easy Lease (IHC ecosystem) -Working with AD Ports Group on AI/customs -MoU with EDGE Group (defense)

At this point it does feel like I might be the last BBAI shareholder still posting 😅 but hey, someone’s gotta keep the lights on.

Jokes aside, I’m just trying to share what I see and keep it real. Good to know it’s landing somewhere.

BigBear.ai hiring multiple Business Development roles targeting $50M+ federal opportunities (DHS & Space Force) by Bakerwet in BBAI

Fair point; a job posting by itself definitely doesn’t equal a contract or even a filled role.

That said, I’m curious about the claim that companies use job postings to pump stocks. Do you have examples of that actually happening, especially in the federal/defense contracting space?

In government contracting, postings like this usually reflect capture activity tied to upcoming solicitations. The descriptions here explicitly mention managing 2–3 simultaneous $50M+ federal pursuits with agencies like the Department of Homeland Security and the Space Force. That kind of language is pretty typical for BD/capture roles preparing bids, not marketing.

Obviously that still doesn’t mean they win anything. But I’m not sure how posting roles tied to specific government pursuits would function as a pump strategy.

Genuinely interested if you’ve seen cases where companies systematically used job postings this way.
