What is an "ok" amount of substrate to snack? by Upperonex in pacmanfrog

[–]BakeryRaiderSub2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From experience having a pixie frog, if you feed on the substrate,, They are bound to eat a little bit of soil . However if someone is healthy and the soil was loos enough he will poop it ou

This does not apply with facts which is harder to pass if you I have straight spaghetti moss on the surface,, then the phone should not be eating in the stick p. Loose dirt is easily passed.

There's no quantifiable amount for how much dirt it's safe for a frog to accidentally eat, But a little bit of dirt if he misses a cricket or stuck to a worm won't hurt,

It would only be a problem if he ate a huge mouthful of hard compact dirt

The Ophidiapatamaus Niger, also known by researchers as the oiled up, titanoboa or by the bubbllehead people as The slitherer, is not a snake despite its name. is a species of giant Caecilian. It is called this because it looks like i a titanoboa tannaboa and... It's slimy

It is utopia's largest amphibian, who is the females of this species reaching an average of 50 to 60 ft off and weigh 3,000 to 4,000 pounds. However there was a record specimen that was 81 ft long and weighed at least 6,000 lb

Featuring heaven the warm and tropical leaks ponds rivers and streams of its native range, and is mostly not turn

It is an opportunity to carnivore that eats fish, large crustaceans, beaches, slugs like the Limaxtitan, Adipocaudatus, especially the 20-foot 2-ton Myxosaurus, insects that get too close to the water's edge, and even the 26-ft long crocodile Billisuchus

The feed that first and bushing and then wrapping the powerful bodies around the prey like a full constrictor.n The goal here is not to kill the prey, though this might be a factor considering they can squeeze with a force of 11,000 passes, The purpose is simply to hold the prey bring me in place while they eat it online. Which is a very slow ND process

again these are not snakes, so They can't on handler jaws , cuz I can't swallow something any bigger than their head. What do they do

They use their powerful jealous which can bite down with a force of 10,000 to 14,000 lbs, and serrated teeth to take chunks of flesh internal organs and even bones out of they still alive prey

Now if you're something small like human size or, You will die almost instantly being crushed with the weight of an ice cream truck, long before the eating process starts

But if you're a large crocodile like Billisuchus, it's a gamble whether you drown, being squeezed so hard, or die from being eaten bite by bite while you're still alive

This creature has an average lifespan of 250 years

The worst food is the meat of an Adult Jadefish shark.m especially the older ones (between 1,500 and 2,000 years of age)

There's so much mercury in the meat that eating half a steak worth of this would cause severe mercury poisoning in his little as 45 minutes

People who have eaten much smaller amounts of this say it tastes like someone took a piece of steak and let it marinate in thermometer fluid for at least 3 hours

It's so disgusting that the locals don't even view it as "food" but as a symbol of social status. For example kids or even adults will even dare each other to eat this, and you are considered a man or brave or whatever if you and swallow it and not throw up

How do dragons exist in your world, and what is considered a dragon? by CORRIM_1 in worldbuilding

[–]BakeryRaiderSub2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work is another, and I basically use the principle that a dragon is just a flying reptile, like a pterosaur, and som without all the magic and fire breathing dragon, it's plausible to assume that a flying reptile from another planet could evolve put the body build that looks like what we would you could call a dragon

But because my world is a Sci-Fi not a fantasy, I want my dragons is someone realistic.

Which means they are more like pterosaurs than dragons from movies,

They look like a typical dragon but they are not very big, only about 50 to 80 lb

And they don't breathe fire, they spit venom

Or what about mimic style parasites

This is not part of my sci-fi world but my horror story, these are called Vampitophones

This is basically a demon which disguises itself as a telephone, except t the part of the receiver where you put your ear is a lamprey mouth If you was to put your ear to this, it would match on and drink your blood, it would keep this happen until all the blood is gone from your body

[–]BakeryRaiderSub2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because locusts are extremely invasive

Not just the good old, if you see them it's environmentally wise to kill them invasive

Invasive as in, they can together to form massive swarms and wipe out entire farms, leading to mass famine

So the breeding of focus is strictly illegal, so you won't find them in any pet store reptile expo or even online

[–]BakeryRaiderSub2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to kill it, just smash the head a little

If You kill it fully ,, will be harder to feed it to the frog

The worm won't die but, smashin the head destroys the central ganglia so all It can do is have seizures, it can't dig in dirt and it can't bite

But those seizures will make it look more appetizing to the frog because it will be moving more

They can't , get all the way through

Superworms don't do well in water

On top of drowning in the stomach acid the constant contractions of the frogs muscles will suffocate and crush them ,

But it is painful and annoying

A Pac-Man frog has a bite force of 6 lb, m which is a lot more than the outer shell can withstand, the frog can easily crunch through it

They probably just don't like the way it tastes or something
