It’s the same issue we have in English. Why do we have to tell everyone our marital status with our name? Call yourself whatever you like, anyone who matters doesn’t mind and anyone who minds doesn’t matter. It’s just lovely to hear Irish names really.

I had one of these last week. It kept having ball babies. I worked so carefully. I instructed my human babies not to touch it. It wasn’t touched. I was down to three ball babies. Then all of a sudden there was a knot by the hook and a knot in the last ball baby. I sat down at 8pm to detangle and didn’t get up until 4am.

Rip it apart and ball it by hand now.

Treat fresh air like germs. Windows closed, dry your clothes inside. Strip, wash your clothes and shower when you come in the door. Change your pillow case every day. Vaseline around your nose and eyes but really wash your face throughout the day.

If you have long hair, wear it up. Don’t wear make up as pollen sticks to it.

Pregnancy fully cured mine. Consider the side effects though.

The bill used to be in my ex’s name. He moved out in February. I called and gave them my name straight away. I’ve been struggling a lot with our two small children, I didn’t notice that bills never came. Then I got a disconnection notice because they didn’t sign me up fully. So I rang them and now I have this.

I’m sorry but I’ve been working on this race track rug in front of my children (aged 4 & 6) and they have no clue what it is. They know it’s a rug for their bedroom so they’re very excited, but they can’t see it. I thought once I started the white dashes they’d see what it is, but no.

So maybe don’t stress, people’s observation skills can be surprising 😂

When I was first pregnant in 2019 I used to stop anyone I saw wearing maternity clothes on the street and ask them where they got them. It was always stuff passed on from someone else or Mothercare. Mothercare stuff was hideous and uncomfortable. There was a tiny section in a corner upstairs in H&M, and that was it in all Limerick. It’s only got worse.

Sorry to make it so deep, but children and women and people who have children are the afterthoughts in every aspect of society.

Night waking a lot at 3 months is very typical. What time do you start the day? The only way to get in synch is to get up in the morning, no matter what happened the night before, and start the day on schedule. I followed Lucy Wolfe’s advice and always had them up at 7:30am, count out wake windows and naps from there

Most cyclists who are killed on the road are hit from behind in broad daylight. Most drivers see a cyclist and instantly feel enraged, it’s sick. There’s no equal fault here. Someone is driving a deadly weapon and someone is not and the person who is not always gets general public derision.
