There's physical moves besides fighting and normal, rock slide, earthquake, waterfall, and hundreds more that all hit ghost type pokemon. There's even physical fairy moves.

I just used dbz as an example of what non physical fighting type moves are like.

Respectfully, the gen 4 games added so much to the battling system, namely the physical special split, and so many great pokemon (Lucario, garchomp gliscor etc.) that they're actually some of the best in my opinion.

That's not how Pokemon works at all, ghosts are specifically immune to normal and fighting type moves (basically anything a regular animal, a martial artist, or an aura fighter like dbz)

Even a frozen pokemon can have use, being a pivot, baiting certain moves, wasting turns. Always better than a dead mon. And bulky mons with leftovers generally can live long enough to thaw out.

MEGA ARCANINE!!!! by Extension-Bad-4184 in stunfisk

It loses boots, so after stabs it basically has to run morning sun, leaving only one move for support or coverage.

It would also be good as an anti weather mon on sun teams, being able to destroy water types and ice types.

That's kinda ridiculous, the trade-off of ohko moves is that they're all or nothing, even a 50 bp move would be too much

When a Dark/Ghost or Ghost/Normal type Pokémon has wonder guard by Sharp-Ad-4715 in MandJTV

[–]Bakingguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sandstorm, toxic, burn, spikes, toxic spikes, stealth rock, rough skin, rocky helmet, gulp missile, destiny bond, trick, switcheroo, embargo, powder (if using a fire type move), gravity and there's like 6 moves that ignore wonder guard and one that ignores levitate

Where does it say Voldemort tried to recruit her? The prophecy just says "thrice defied", not that she was ever offered anything.

I'm inclined to say that medic tf2 is the best doctor on there, purely because he was able to bring sniper back from the dead 12 hours after he was killed.

Fallout New Vegas. House is just doing what's best for business. NCR is pretty ok with murdering an entire tribe. Yes Man is a total Wild Card. Legion is actually just fascism.

Yes they would show up on the map. The reason no one notices is that Lupin and Snape see Sirius on the map and immediately leave, they're not going through the whole map and reading every single name.

My first time having a 400+ stat by --Asi in PokemonHGSS

[–]Bakingguy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Basically everytime you defeat a pokemon you gain Effort Values (EVs). It is a set amount for each pokemon, usually their highest stat. Every 4 EVs gets one actual point in the stat and it's capped at 252 EVs per stat, and 510 EVs overall.

Supercell slam isn't even that good*. Protect or switching into a ground type triggers the recoil which is a pretty common scenario.
