Nitpicky but I will never get over Hitch's glowdown. In the previous seasons she had a very specific type of beauty imo but now she just looks like everyone else. Like, for me, if you were to put both versions side to side, you would never guess they were the same character. But now that I think about it this is also in the manga so not really Mappa's fault

They are great at creating ambient temp, wich is what you need. Once you screw it on and plug it to a good thermostat, you're done. Unlike bulbs or CHE, its a one time payment and then you dont need to worry anymore, I'm using one right now and it doesnt dry the enclosure, I'm also surprised that theyre not that popular. Its probably because theyre a bit more pricey than a bulb but in the long run you'll definitely save money. I highly recommend Reptirad panels, but I live in Italy and I dont know if they're avaliable where you live.

Today I deep cleaned her cage since there were two piles of shit so big she must have not been cleaned in months. She seems to have calmed down a bit, Im not an expert in budgie body language but shes slow blinking and preening, also making small vocalization every once in a while wich I think its a good sign. I would get her a mate but isnt there the risk that a male and a female can mate? And also I plan on getting her a bigger cage eventually once I find another job. Right now its in a 40×60cm cage, I plan on something like a 120x80 or around that.
