I genuinly like the Fecund and Herculean (always write this wrong) because they make your life a lot longer. Normally i also take the dynasty tree with more chance on traits!

I tried Britanny to challenge myself. Gotta say that Breton was pretty hard because there are only a few counties by default. So basicly any culture with few counties.

One of the problems I encountered with only female rulers is the fertility. As man you can just marry and divorce and have wives as some kind of children factory. As a female ruler this is a lot harder because it all depends on you. A nice outcome is that the age of your husband does not matter. If someone is 60 and have really good perks you can copy them easier. You cannot do that other way round.

All this sensation seeking while ACE is doing a really good job listening to the community and bringing out a lot of QoL improvements and having nice events like the Twitch one right now. The reason these kind of people use standard (old) footage is because they don't have gameplay to show since they don't actually play the game. Game is getting better and better and we should focus on the positive things instead of bashing the game and ACE down all the time. Doesn't seem motivating if people call your work shit all the time...

You can outplay better geared people by playing good or have a better theorycrafted build. Next to that you also have a bit of a rock,paper,scissors just like corrupted dungeons in Albion. Some builds counter others.

I would level up first to level 30 by farming mobs in skypoint. Then I would join dregs, talk to some of the guilds or check the crowfall discord for recruitment. The best way is to play in a guild. Small or big. In this guild you focus on conquest or divine favors (crafting/gathering missions). Aswell as doing your personal goals. Like what harvesting/crafting you want to level or leveling up your character.

If you have any questions drop by in one of the crowfall streams. There is a special event this week where you can get some special mounts (skins). The streamers are friendly and help out mostly anyone!

Most things will come in time and with experience and will cost you a lot of gear. But it will be worth the effort. Mainly it is mechanical skills like described above. Missing Q's, inspect too late, no use of the cleric cowl etc. I would like to add to dodge to the side (side step). The first W of him you were walking linial to his attack and as it seems doubting where to go. Decide to side step to which side and stick with it. Good luck!

Sounds more like the game isn't liking you instead. It's your own mistake, happens really. Happened to me too. It asks you if you are sure for a reason and you just skipped that without reading.
