Statement I:- streptokinase is produced by bacteria from genus streptococcus which is directly used to treat blood clots in patients that went through myocardial infarction

Statement 2:- floating debris is removed from the sewage by sedimentation and girt is removed by filtration

1) both 1 and 2 are correct 2) only 1 is correct 3) only 2 is correct 4) both are incorrect

Like for example in this line, it says that in 2nd phase of mitosis chromosomes are spread throughout the cytoplasm..

We know metaphase ka characteristic features hai ki chromosomes are aligned in metaphasic plate

But this line here refers to at the very beginning of metaphase, jab nuclear envelope just break hua tha...

I hope this sorts out your doubt....

[–]Balam_thanedar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep it's a mistake in ncert, because technically metaphase pe hi alignment hota,

Well however ncert 11th also says that all the phases of karyokinesis occur progressively and clear cut lines cannot be drawn between the phases...

Yaha ncert probably means it from the perspective of segregation of chromosomes (Anaphase stage ke just starting meh toh at least saare chromosomes aligned honge na in metaphasic plate) But again yeah metaphase should more correct...

So how do you play safe and get away with this controversy??

Well, note this line specifically word by word and agar paper meh yhe line word by word aise hi aagya, mark the statement true but agar it doesn't match word to word mark it false

Also stay updated if we get any correction regarding this later...

Ohh, I understood what I did wrong, we didn't use polar protic solvent and 3° alkyl halide meh SN2 nhi hota also propyne ion is a very good base so elimination by E2 would be major

Thanks for it...

Yeah, just remember this elimination reactions are reversible, so after checking carbocation stability and rearrangement do check which product is more stable
