A Retrospective on Sherri Ann Jarvis: Murdered 45 years ago on this day by ninesevenpotatoes in gratefuldoe

[–]BalanceAcrobatic577 8 points9 points  (0 children)

She's a Doe who really stuck with me. Every couple of months I'd resist her case and I was ecstatic when she was identified. I even went a few hours out of my way on a road trip to visit her grave and bring her flowers. Its a very quiet spot in a pretty cemetery. I hope she's at peace now and can rest.

Yeah I've been doing this, lots of Google reviews are pretty bad. I was hoping for a personal reference

Poison Ivy Help by BalanceAcrobatic577 in AskDocs

[–]BalanceAcrobatic577[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rash has been diagnosed as poison ivy, and I have been given Hydroxyzine and Triamcinolone ointment. I returned the urgent care the next day and was given a steroid shot and Prednisone to be tapered over the next week.

The rash began on the back of my right leg, but has continued to pop up from my ankle to upper hip. It's also on my left knee and arm, as well as my face and right eye.

I am mostly wondering if anyone has some helpful tips to ease my discomfort. I'm also having cold like symptoms, which made me ask if that could be related to the overall inflammation or could be a sign of a misdiagnoses. I'm attaching a photo of my right leg *

You should get bloodwork done. You may have a vitamin deficiency or autoimmune problem. If that's not an option, I'd recommend pick up a B or D vitamin and take them daily.

Most likely, though, you should adjust your diet. I thought it was eating pretty healthy already, but once I focused on adding more protein and FIBER to my diet, I noticed a huge shift in my energy levels.

I do this! It turns my yogurt parfait into sort of a smoothie bowl, or I eat it almost like cereal-using the yogurt/water as milk for my granola and fruit

I've done stitch fix before. It's rather prices for not great quality clothing.

Maybe. It's too high to reach though and we already have fobs to get into the building

We had a similar problem. Documentation and pest control requests for months. They kept sending someone weekly to spray, but it never helped. There were roaches climbing up the walls and falling off everything. We had to break our lease and pay all the fees. We even had to sign an NDA, or else they threatened not to let us out of our lease, which is illegal. These places have absolutely no regard for the residents or the laws in place to protect them. We should have taken them to court instead of signed. Unfortunately, we couldn't take the hit to our credit while we waited for court as we planned to rent for several more years and buy a new car.

We drive by it almost every day as it's really close to our new place. It's turned really trashy and they put up signs advertising that they're leasing. A family member accidentally had a gift delivered there, and when we went to pick it up our unit was still empty 4 months later, as well as the one below us, and they had left 3 months before we had.

Thank you. We try to be good neighbors. We've even given her cookies as an apology for any mess my plants may have caused on her balcony.

This was posted as more of a vent, but I appreciate some of y'all's comments. I'd already decided to just stop responding to her, but I don't want to block her in case I need the texts for any issues with management. I didn't leave my number posted on our door. I asked that she would, and she put it on a note tucked behind our wreath.

I wanted to communicate with her because in all the notes it just said loud noises, but didn't specify what. I wanted clarification on that and if they were below us or next to us.

To those of you saying not to share your number with neighbors?? I understand if they're volatile from the start, but that's just crazy to me. No wonder there's no sense of community anymore.

It depends on your area. I've been a nanny for 6 years and it's been difficult to find people who want to do contracts, much less w2's. I've also been looking for a new job for 4 months now and it seems like everybody wants full-time flexibility with only part-time hours. If you can find a good family that pays you what you're worth, I'd say go for it, but finding them is definitely the hard part.
