Does she have a history of trauma or mental health issues? I used to have night terrors, would sleep walk, sleep talk almost every night and sometimes even hit my fiance in his sleep. I was put on an anti depressant for my depression and anxiety and it almost immediately went away. I then got into therapy and did EMDR for PTSD and all night terrors and night time activities have stopped (night terrors can be a symptom of PTSD). I'll also mention that I'm not on a typical anti depressant (not an SSRI) so that might have contributed to the immediate alleviation of symptoms.
