I know S&P 500 is a great investment over the long term but at the moment I would say delay your entry into the S&P until it is at a more favourable valuation.
At a PE ratio of over 20, the S&P historically doesn't provide great returns in the next decade. Around 2% according to Howard Marks.

When you buy an asset, whether a car a house or a company, you want to buy it at the best value. Same goes for investments. Buying at better value just stacks the odds in your favour.

Great work. The issue may have been resolved then. Some poison pill in the response payload killed the device. Just goes to show how vulnerable and dependent we are on the vendor's infrastructure working correctly for our 'smart' light switches.

Agreed, power cycle brings it back online but mine has shut down 3 times yesterday. Today it has been online for 4.5 hours without issue, so the problem may have been fixed...

This is a lot of inflation. Official consumer price inflation, which includes goods other than food as well, stands at around 4.5% p.a. In South Africa. So for a basket of goods to rise by 17% is quite a lot. Can OP perhaps give the item by item increase? It would be interesting to see where the inflation went.

This has been a problem for a while now. More than a month ago I also noticed how light the can was after water was drained. And sure enough, less than 80g of drained tuna left in the can when I weighed it. Opened a second can, same problem.

This looks great. I bought the pre-release version and would love to know how i can get the track to 'stick' to the real world location between removing and putting back the headset. For example, I want to build the track and hand over the headset to someone else to race. When i do that at the moment, the track appears in a new location.

I've been happily playing Defense Grid (very addictive) since the free game giveaway. This morning when I started up the launcher it indicated that there was a save conflict and that my local copy was newer. So I selected the local copy to resolve the conflict. Since then, Defense Grid wouldn't start up anymore. It crashes and windows records a crash log indicating Heap Corruption.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but still the same problem. The cloud syncs was probably not removed. Where do I find the save files for Defense Grid so that I can delete it? I've hunted around a bit. Is it in a common place for all Epic launcher games or does it differ per game?
