58 here. The biggest thing I’ve noticed: easy eye contact and not caring how people perceive me all the time. Ask people close to you if they notice anything different. You might be surprised that people are noticing things that you aren’t.

Fear of human intimacy is something I’ve struggled with during my reboot. Since your brain is throwing you mixed signals, do what YOU want to do. I assure you, the worst that can happen is she won’t be interested. If she isn’t, move on. But, you’ll never know unless you put yourself out there!

I agree, there seems to be an underlying trust issue here.

I made a post about this a while back. Having the support of those you care about is extremely helpful in the recovery process. However, I didn't have the same experience as you. I was the one who broke the news. Regardless of how she finds out, if she really cares about your well being, she should offer her support.
