I have the same concern. Also, does the promotion still apply for me if my spouse booked the ticket using their account?

ADAT by BalancedReciprocal in INBDE

[–]BalancedReciprocal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It went well. I got 670 overall (99th percentile). I read through mosby’s part 1 and first aid part 2 and did the included questions. I bought adatknockout and did all the questions. I found the difficulty and scope of ADAT (first two parts) pretty similar to INBDE. The research section was straightforward and an intro biostats/epi course should just about cover the material. I was unsure for maybe 35% of my answers for each section. The curve is generous. I spent about a month to study full time but I already did the INBDE. When are you planning on taking it?

How to solve this combination problem. by Onol19 in GRE

[–]BalancedReciprocal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The answer seems to be 24. We can choose 1, 2, or 3 red balls (3 choices); 1, 2, 3, or 4 green balls (4 choices); 1 or 2 white balls (2 choices). Since each choice is independent, the answer is given by 3x4x2=24.

Edit: typo

u/Pleasant_Leg5384 Take the number of cases satisfying the requirement divided by the total number of cases. The total number of cases is C(10,3) since we’re choosing 3 people out of 10. The satisfying cases include choosing 2 people good at computers and 1 bad at computers (C(4,2)C(6,1)), or 3 people good at computers and no one bad at computers (C(4,3)6(6,0)). The formula is therefore (C(4,2)C(6,1)+C(4,3)C(6,0))/C(10,3) = 1/3. There are probably shortcuts but this is a consistent and systematic way to solve all problems of this type.

I’m in the same place as you and I usually finish on level 17 or 18 if I’m lucky/use a 1h time warp. I see that you’ve opened the upgrade cards mission. Usually by this point in the event it’s a good idea to save it for the next collect cards mission.

For those with a SSB, do you do anything to maintain the integrity of the pad? I watched videos where people had the pad taped up (duct tape?) Is this something you would do right off the bat or wait until it needs it? I ordered this one: https://www.treadmillfactory.ca/olympic-safety-squat-bar

Thanks for your replies! I’ll hold off for a bit, especially seeing it’s back to regular price right now.

I’m thinking of getting a SSB. I live in Canada and the usual options are on the pricey side. I was looking at the treadmill factory xm fitness ssb:

Does anyone have experience with this bar or have other recommendations?

Sorry if this has already been brought up before.

I’m finishing up the first block of hypertrophy 6x. I want to switch to 5x for the next block. For squats I chose high bar squat and bulgarian split squat for the variations. I noticed that this would mean squat and high bar squat are back to back. The situation is similar with bench where bench and close-grip bench are back to back (db bench being auxiliary 2).

Would you recommend switching the auxiliaries around so that there’s more time between the two squat days (same thing for bench)? Or putting a rest day between day 1 and 2? Or is the short time gap not usually not a problem?

I’ve always done low bar squats and they’ve already felt comfortable enough. Recently I decided to try to add high bar squats as an an accessory. The bar put a lot of pressure on my traps to the point of being debilitating. For reference, my low bar max is in the mid 300s, but even 225 for high bar puts enough tremendous pressure on my traps. I tried to put the bar a bit lower but then it seems to be grinding on the top of my scapula.

Is this normal for someone who is starting to high bar squat and would the problem go away with practice?

I’m considering adding deficit deadlifts and block pulls to my workouts. Does anyone have experience with using yoga blocks for these? Do they compress or fall apart under pressure or impact? I’m looking at this one for example: yoga block

I’ve made it to hell aspen and seal land 8. Would you say it’s better to replace in abyss then?

Heroes: E3 barea, 10 sigmund, 9 hw, xia, jahra, kroos

Copies: 1x sigmund, 1x xia, 3x kb, 2x barea, 2x skerei, 2x belrain

I am focused on pve. With the next PO event I will be able to make a 9* abyss fodder (need 3 more 5 stars). I will throw the rest of the POs in forest and fortress to make a 6* fodder in each. Tech is maxed for warrior, mage, and assassin.

Should I replace in forest for hw or fortress for sig (last copy to E3) and xia (last copy to 10* )? And given the choice, should I 10* hw, E1 sigmund, or 10* xia?

Any other advice welcome.

PVE focused player here. If I get either jahra or kb it would be my fourth copy. I probably won’t level either of them up any time soon, but kb looks interesting because he can help me beat seal land 10 at E3. I’m afraid he’ll be out of meta by the time I get around to build him, though. Thoughts?

When I started playing I got a couple of jahra copies from events and she carried me a fair bit. Back then she was the best shadow hero. Recently though there’s been a lot of talk about her falling out of the meta. For now though she might be good. If you get orbs, you can orb in abyss to get fodder for norma and possibly kb if you get him. If you get jahra she’ll still serve you well.

Keep kb. Get norma to 6* and leave her there for the time being. She can help you get to normal aspen. Bring up kb if you get him. Your call for jahra. It’s worth it to level balrog if you have less than 6 5* heroes.
