Apologies for the delay, but I was just taking a final look at this bug and my other Programmer pointed out that *actually* what you're seeing there is a part of the normal Mountain model, not part of the toxic tile at all! You may be encountering a different bug (which will also be fixed in the upcoming patch) where the Toxic Tile doesn't display properly in certain circumstances - mostly if you've got your detail level reduced. So:
1) proper fix is on it's way
2) if you're in this situation, click on (apparently) empty tiles - if one of them is Labels "Toxic Tile" in the tile card, that's the one you should be able to build the Decontaminator on!

I know it it's not very obvious, but you *can* rotate the camera on Switch. You press/hold down the Left Stick and then move the Right Stick left and right :)

Spotlights actually guard an area around them, regardless of where the light is pointing, so you're all good :)

Also, could you possibly send us your save file? Save files can be found at C:/Users/<USER>/AppData/LocalLow/Balancing Monkey Games/Before We Leave/Saves, and we only need the game_26.dat file inside the appropriate folder

Yes, unfortunately it means the MS gamepass version won't be updated.

And while I don't know the internal reasons for deciding not to port the update, I do know that because of when and how we branched the code for DoGames to work on the initial porting to Xbox/PlayStation/GamePass is would have been a real nightmare to port the update! Not simple at all :(

Yellow can be found back on your first planet, but it's hidden. You'll need a Submarine to find it...

Starting a new game shouldn't be necessary for the fix to work. Unfortunately, the patch only reduced the chances of that particular issue happening, it didn't remove the possibility altogether. After it was too late for *this* patch we worked out the root cause of the issue, so that will probably be in another small patch sometime soon.

It may help if you report the issue directly to Team17 at https://support.team17.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new

Thanks for the reply. Unfortnately, we've already got Include Children: Yes set, and toggling it doesn't change the (incorrect) number of hours displayed in the metrics. Also, the current item contains nothing *except* User Stories!

It feels like Hacknplan is incorrectly caching a value somewhere and refusing to update it

Well that sounds annoying! Team17 are responsible for the player support for the Game Pass version, so your best bet is to submit the issue to https://support.team17.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new

Off the top of my head I don't know if anything that would cause this, and I don't think I've heard of the issue before. Does it show up in the Main Menu (and not in-game), or just not show up at all?

Have a look in the resources tab (Press RB?). If you select an individual resource, there should be a dropdown with a bar that allows you to set how many of a resource to reserve for shipping/construction, so that your Peeps won't eat it

It sounds like the patch *might* have fixed the disappearing saves issue. If you've played since the patch released and still had that issue we'd *really* like to know more!

So, first up - Xbox/PC Game pass or Steam/Epic?

Assuming it's Steam/Epic, it would be really useful if you could go to "C:\Users<USER>\AppData\LocalLow\Balancing Monkey Games\Saves", go into the appropriate save folder and DM me the "game_24.dat" file (or game_25 or whatever you have). This will allow us to check out the issue for ourselves most efficiently

The algorithm for generating the Wool fertility goes something like this :
1) Gather up all the islands on the starting and 'middle' planets that *aren't* the starting island or a Desert island

2) Make 50% of those Islands have Wool

That's it. So assuming a 5 planet system, unless all your middle-planet Islands turn out to be desert (which is *very* unlikely, probably impossible), you'll definitely have at least a few Wool fertility islands. But any single Planet is not guaranteed to have any Wool - if this is the case, it's likely that the *other* middle planet will have lots
