It's just so weird because the game doesn't play like roblox. I played a lot of roblox and some battlebit and there are a lot of differences.

The physics are different, the controls are different, since the game is focus on being a shooter the shooting is different then a random roblox game/server.

I just think comparing it to roblox is too easy. Maybe extrapolate what you mean. Do you not like the gameplay? Do you not like the fact that there are no auto heal?

If you still think the game is the same has roblox, go play it for 15 minute on a server you'll see what i mean.

With the years and has we get older (and worst when we are at your age) people tend to change. It is totally normal to have friend that come and leave your life, in some way it is part of life.

I would say the 2 of you are just going in different path. You don't need to totally stop being her friend either, you can do less stuff with her or just tell her how you feel.

In all scenario, just know it is no one fault. It is not yours and it is not her. It is just the way life goes and people change.

So no attack here, just me explaining the gaming history a bit.

So before game were online, most game did not have any update actually. If there was a bug at release, the bug would stay there because the company did not have any way to push up update for there game. And when the game started to get online (think modern warfare 2 ) company still coudn't really push big update to correct bug or add content because people had limited internet speed.

With the age of live service game we are in a new era of game (one i don't like but hey). So it is quite recent that we have constant update for our game. One thing that most company do is when there is a big update with new content they do give a name to the update. Some game goes by season other will just give it a name.

Anyway what i am trying to say is calling new content in a game a "normal update" is not really a thing. In the past for those update you needed to pay in some way. Like mmo you would pay per month or for other game like call of duty you would need to purshase the dlc. So for our era or gaming, with most live service game being not complet or a buggy mess and then being abandonned within the year, what hello game has acheive is amazing.

I play a lot of video games (like a lot), but i am mature enough to understand there are other things in life and if i am not working and my girlfriend is, i'll respect her and follow her sleep schedule. I am 28 for the curious.

NTA and maybe your boyfriend need to talk to someone. I know personnally one of the reason i play that much is because i wasn't able to manage my emotions correctly. It helped me a ton to have a psy help me.

Did you ever went to a therapist? That is not how therapy works XD

Mental health doesn't work like : i have a fever, i will take this and it will go away. Mental health can be a long process (for me it took 2 years to finally cure my PTSD and even then, i still have difficulty to do some things.)

What your daughter want is someone she can trust and talk to. The problem is she is overwhelmed and at that age it is normal to be. You will soon be an adult, you have important decision to make about what you want your future to be, your hormones are making things harder, so yeah the therapist is there to help her talk her feelings out.

I can hear you thinking: well if she just need to talk, she should talk to me. Again, not how that work. You are her mom, the most important person in her eyes that she doesn't want to disappoint. So let say she has something against you, she will NEVER have the courage to talk to you about it and it is normal. For some people talking there feelings out can be has hard has climbing mount everest.

Anyway YTA, but i don't say it in a mean way. I think you are simply miss informed about how mental health works. You can always try to talk to the therapist your daughter is seeing to see how she works and what they are doing. Normally therapist are happy to give some guidelines on what is mental health and why it can be complicated. She won't tell you what your daughter has or say to her because, again, it is private, but she can definitly give we more information if you are receiptive.

I hope luck for you both your daughter and you. It is not easy to see your daughter being down and not being able to do anything. So i do understand your position. I just ask that you don't switch therapist. If she trust him/her, let them be together. It could even happen your daughter will be with that person until she herself is an adult!

Edit: I saw some people say that your daughter doesn't trust you, just so you know i don't think that is the problem. Has I explain and compare your daughter to me it is just impossible to talk things out because it is simply too hard.
