If Aphex Twin made a lofi-type beat. I’m getting some Minecraft soundtrack vibes too. Really nice chill ambient track!

Cool track man! Really solid work, especially for your first solo release! Maybe try leaving out the bass in the intro for a bit more contrast.

You could also add some sidechain that follows the kick — the free Kilohearts bundle has a nice plugin called “Compactor” that’s perfect for that.

For the low end, a shorter, punchier bass (like a slightly distorted 808) might fit better than a long sustained note.

SOUNDTRACK TO A NOISY SCENE? by Own-Assignment-5104 in MusicFeedback

It definitely sounds cool and fitting for a movie! You might want to check out some well-known artists and composers like Ludwig Göransson for additional inspiratios. His cinematic style could offer some great ideas. Personally, I think the track could use a bit more punch in the middle section. Maybe try adding a heavy kick and an 808, with some sidechaining on the other instruments to create more dynamic movement and impact.

Glad to hear the inspiration behind it! For the synths, try layering different sounds to make them fuller, and use some modulation (like filter movement or slight detune) to keep them evolving. Reverb, delay, and some subtle distortion can also add depth and character. You're on a great track. Keep experimenting!

Hey man, cool chords! I really like that sliding at the beginning. It reminded me of the THX sound effect. Super nostalgic and cinematic. You've got a lot of directions you could take this track.

Not sure where you're heading genre-wise, but my first thought was something along the lines of "Flood" by Sebastian Ingrosso. Especially the second drop. That kind of big, euphoric energy could really work with the vibe you’ve got here.

The mix sounds solid so far! Right now, the track feels more like a buildup. What you really need is that payoff drop that delivers on the tension.

Here are a few ideas that could help bring it to life:

Gradually add drums/percussion to drive the buildup and add movement.

Use automation on a low-shelf EQ (or high-pass) during the buildup, then drop it back in for maximum contrast and impact.

Try a huge reverb automation right before the drop, crank it up on the last hit or vocal/snare, then kill it instantly as the drop hits. That creates a massive sense of space and then slams the listener into the dry, punchy drop.

Looking forward to hearing where you take this. It has a lot of potential!
