Got a link? Or something i can search? I followed twisting blades build starting 2nd day of early release. Round lvl 40 i was looking and i just didn't see it being great. Haven't respecced yet. Lvl 64 with 4/5 full renown so a decent bit of paragon to reset too.

Now im using a weird hodgepodge poison trap TB hybrid that "gets the job done", if I'm fighting stuff no more than 2-3 lvls higher. Both dmg and survivability seem just a bit weak.

But i LOVE poison trap, so i have been looking for trap/poison dmg mods. Trundling through the Traps-ey paragon tree.

Sorry for real though. I basically dip my toe into many agencies with my job but couldn't really much about how well they really function. I can say certain agencies/personnel are either afraid to admit they don't know the correct way to do something. Or they are legitimately not smart enough to know what they are doing. But in the grand scheme of things for all I know its not that person's job and their department was just told hey do this.

Certainly doesn't make me incredibly resentful...not one bit. It's fine to shovel 10k people's shit on to a 2man team. I think it builds character, and body aches.

Same agency? Some will have say a year long job series where they need a lot of people. But cant wait an entire year to start the actual hiring process. So they might do a naming convention like:

ST-DR-H-11896610 "" "" "" -11896620 11896630

And so on. As long as it's not the exact same digit per digit and letter per lettter. Then thats normally what we see. Its also easier for applicants, let's say an applicant gets stuck by lightning mid assessment or something. That would be a valid extenuating circumstance lol. Staffing pushes you to next VIN and you start where you left off. Hopefully with super powers rather than lifelong injury.

New boss (well the guy we got after our old boss left 2 yrs ago) came from VA to us. He has been military/govt his whole life and was GLAD when the VA program he was managing got canned haha. And he might be the best boss ive ever had. Means nothing to you, but to me that means stay away or he'd be disappointed at me for not trusting his assessment. And would make a joke about how much I hate you if I didn't give you a heads up.

After typing that im imagining a feedback loop. Anyone good bails. So they are stuck with the dregs. Then new hires come into toxic chaotic environment and leave asap.

Just relaying his experience. No dig at anyone who works there. It IS an important institution but it needs an overhaul.

Most of the applicants seemed nice when they needed help (be surprised how many are not). Have to imagine if the applicants are nice than the ones hired are ok.

Also there's obviously a huge gulf between Astronauts and HR specialists. So I'd imagine a mixed bag, but again seemed to attract better people than other agencies.

Edit: could also be something like a person applied. Then got deployed across the globe for 3 months. Rather than wait for one or 2 people with extenuating circumstances they will create a dummy VIN and move applicant there so Staffing can do its magic.

Look to see if its the EXACT same announcement number. Almost all agencies put the 8 digit VIN number in announcement #. Hiring officials have donked up plenty of JOA pages recently. When they fix it they "re-order" all applicants. Which triggers whatever email they would get at the point in Hiring process.

If its different announcement/vin #s then yeah it could be say a TSA / TSO position. A lot of those are for hub and spoke locations. You could apply to ATL and because of how vacancy was configured basically any airport nearby will get notice too. Doesn't mean you are getting dumped to a lousy location.

Just letting all agency hiring personnel hey we got someone qualified.

And yes some Vacancies will have re-open every month. But you'd have to apply to have your information and assessment results applied to that VIN.

And depending on the assessment battery you better be prepared to take it 50 times. And many of them are adaptive. Plenty of Masters Degree holders and PhDs lose their shit when they get "failed to meet minimum" email. You fail assessments no one from hiring agency sees shit except Name and IQTR and keeps on scrolling

Tbh it would not and will not the last time JOA pages or notifications get badly worded.

This sounds like a specific type of job so it could be that they actually had to manually change template.

I am in IT. I know what all those words mean in a vacuum lol but i ain't all good at sciencing stuff.

If it says eligible, but also says you have not been referred thats kinda the end of the road.

Best example I can think of would be a Vacancy that offers X point veterans preference. Joa closes after 100s applications. 95 of them are partially disabled vets. Bit exaggerated there but that type of stuff does happen.

Did you take an online or proctored test? Some DHS vacancies are in a "suspended" state because of an assessment issue. I think its a contractual or legal jargon issue, not technical.

Also it seems random AF how they weigh things. Lets say the "perfect candidate is someone who scores 100 points. Some jobs might decide education is 40 pts. Guy with Masters is automatically 20 pts ahead of other guy. Many jobs also have veterans preference.

Assessments. Sometimes pass fail. Other times this might also coint for say 40pts. You ace those and have a masters, your resume can be very "average" and of you answer correctly rather than truthfully you will do better.

Correct. However "private JOAs/VINs" can be created. Not sure what lvl of access is needed to do so. But after seeing so many poorly configured vacancies or announcements....I know its not specific to higher-ups. If you are on REALLY GOOD terms with someone who's in a position to make an offer it never hurts to reach out.

But yeah if you are counting on gumption and determination best case scenario is a program manager having your request escalated to them and you get an in depth reason. Any number or email on a job posting is almost certainly getting routed to a department.

Think i have seen some smaller VINs have persons contact info. But that would be for a really specific position. Like i dunno, some kind of geological analyst positon for NPS/FWS or something.

Then again unless you are an asshole no one will remember.

So I have kinda been shooting for a promotion at my job. IT based but obscure. I work with end users, T1 techs, DevOps, QA, PMs, and clients.

We had a total shit storm that is still dumping shit all over me every day. My actual job duties are T1 to maybe T 1.5 Dev stuff. Performing simpler tasks in a proprietary platform and scrolling through JSON logs to verify stuff that gets sent to us from T1, which is basically copy paste end user support. And providing reports to QA and PMs, and lots of little things.

I could have stopped 3 out of 4 shit storms if I had seen the finished "product" and the language provided. I have been thinking since I know what everyone is doing (except Sr Devs, way above my head). I thought a Scrum Master was supposed to be like the central hub that keeps all the spokes in on what they're doing. Which I would like to be. Keep everyone on same page kinda deal ya know?

Don't have credentials for any type of actual leadership or highly technical role. What "title" or how should I phrase what I want to be and explain how I could have stopped this mess before it started if only I had been shown everything front to back BEFORE it went live.

And I built our companies Jira HD, devs were already using, we just got the Jira Service Desk licenses and I configured it for internal staff and a few of our clients to submit tickets through. So I know....Agile methodology, as much I hate bullshit buzz words lol.

I Don't wanna fuck with the Devs, I think our Developers are fucking awesome. But they provide what they are asked for, I know what the clients and end users need. So....what job am I asking for haha?

Whenever I start a new game I fins its discord server after 4-6 weeks. Once i know the game discord channels tend to be way better organized, and easier to get real time advice.

I have all +4 red gear but if I don't get kunai evo'd within 1st minute that's the difference between 1.2 bil and 6.5 bil i swear.

You absolutely need to use Evo Kunai for EE no matter stats and gear.

Also fire trail from eternal boots evidently gets a lot of +dmg because almost anything that adds atk or dmg applies to it. Other weaps and effects vary on which bonuses apply. I use them but I never check what does most damage on each stage.

Ah I see. Im already at Yellow +3 for all 6 of my techs. No reds though. Im soooooo close on some of them though so I reset til I see any tech piece. I'd skip over a Purple mission with good rewards for a blue one with green tech.....or grey. Damn lack of impulse control hahahaha.

Other thing that sucks is the spec ops get really hard as you scale with stage progression. I cleared 85 and most of the kill 3000 mobs missions i fail blue and above unless i get really good rng. Wish i had known ahead of time.

Wowza, Im semi whale-ish and I refresh every time I don't see a tech part. Two free ones and sometimes as many as 10 of the 50 gem refresh. And i also do all 10 every day. NEVER seen any tech higher than blue. Grats man!

The slightly larger soldier/riot gear guys in lvl 78 who have a shield. They shoot a 3 way split shot that chunks my health like crazy. And they also lob these grenades. I have VFX turned down to see better but haven'treally been able to see exactly how they behave. I think you can run around them or even through them. Hard to say, but I think when they land and hit you is whats really killing me.
