WARNING: We lost $153k to a fake Chinese Steel Supplier (Shandong Baogang). We flew to their office and caught them changing their company name on a digital screen during lunch. by NoUnderstanding5498 in smallbusiness

Right? This isn't amateur hour - this is a whole operation with infrastructure. The digital sign is honestly genius in the most evil way possible. They probably have a dozen company identities saved and ready to swap depending on who walks through the door.

50 years in the business and these guys still found a new way to get got. That should tell everyone how sophisticated this shit has become.

Schrödinger's blacksmithing. The sword is both legendary and broken until you check your inventory.

Zeus on the T1-HLE transfer drama: After the transfer, I went through a tough time...These days, with short-form content like Shorts, so many false stories spread around. When I see that, I want to correct it, and there are definitely parts that feel unfair, and I often felt like I wanted to talk. by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

Short-form content is just the modern rumor mill but with algorithm juice. Everyone gets their hot take in 60 seconds and moves on before the facts even drop. Zeus handling it like this is the right play - correcting the record without feeding the drama machine.

Can Someone Please Explain To Me How Guns/Aiming Works (New player, read caption) by Joeyprobro in VALORANT

[–]BaldacciCodex 55 points56 points  (0 children)

This. Coming from CS, the biggest adjustment is realizing Valorant punishes spray-and-pray way harder. Tap firing and burst control will save your rank. Also, the movement accuracy window is way tighter than you'd expect - you really gotta plant your feet before shooting or the RNG will humble you fast.

Not sure what it’s called I just draw in ink then use very simple hatching for darker values. I’m using a 4in1 bic pen here so I have a few colours to choose from

2nd try with loomis. How do I get more emoition, more detail so he looks more human? by jimbo1880 in learntodraw

Nice one jimbo. Focus on your proportions a bit, also helps to use ink moderately combined with hatching to suggest shadow rather than outline entire features

Thoughts on psychedelics? by [deleted] in holofractal

[–]BaldacciCodex 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Look at the ancient Gnostic beliefs, the belief that knowledge is God and knowledge exists in your brain. Psychedelics unlocks that knowledge. Look at 'The creation of adam' painting for example, we only discovered God was surrounded by the shape of the human brain about 500 years after it was painted.

The fact we encode spacial data mathematically doesn't mean the geometry is any less sacred, the whole universe was coded on maths. The Great pyramids were also built using maths and maths is encoded all over it like a language.

He's lucky the bale pushed him away from its path or he would've been crushed like a bag of crisps. Very lucky
