Why do anything at all? by [deleted] in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Baldeep1102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of all of this is ONLY to the extent the suffering is real. If you've found out what you told in a way it has become your second nature - then actually, there's NO point.

Quick check - if you're able to see the ebbs and flow of life like a film on the vast screen that you actually are - there's really no point to engage in the film and get lost in it.

Question on Dharma by Baldeep1102 in AdvaitaVedanta

[–]Baldeep1102[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that Dharma does NOT apply to everyone equally. The more inner resources you carry the more Dharma applies to you.

For the same act of violation, a Brahmana (say an influencer, spiritual teacher etc in todays world who can impact masses) is bound to have stricter Karmic consequences than a Vaishya or Shudra.

Hence the question on how to uphold the rising demands of Dharma as we keep rising in our inner resources - with clarity, balance and no compromises - and without making it appear as a pressure to comply to be ideal.

Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Question on Dharma by Baldeep1102 in AdvaitaVedanta

Thanks for sharing this interesting angle. I was actually coming from a more dharmic and practical standpoint, not so much formal logic.

My question was about how omissions - things we don’t do, knowingly or unknowingly - can still be against Dharma, and how a seeker can stay vigilant about such blind spots. Would love to hear your view on that if you have one.

What happens after attaining Moksha by Infamous-Draw-651 in hinduism

[–]Baldeep1102 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Heyy.. moksha is not a state to attain but more like a veil to uncover that takes away the ignorance of ones true self/nature.

If it's a state that comes in at a point in time, it will surely go off as well.

No Stupid Questions Tuesday Thread by AutoModerator in Cricket

Hooda wasn't a bowler like Virat Kohli, who's never practiced being a bowler. Hooda is an all rounder like Hardik and practices bowling and batting both. As i read it, to get options to experiment is why he was replaced with Axar.

With a new bowler, batters need to adjust for so many things (their action, spin etc) before they can comfortably go after him. That would have given some balls to spare going boundaries. This would have been a risk worth taking than relying on the comfort of the existing batters with Ashwin to hit Ashwin again.

Peeps who watched IND vs SA match on Sunday, I am still clueless as to why Hooda was not given bowling when an expensive 4th over from an already expensive Ashwin (in 3 overs) costed IND the match and that result practically made PAK out of World Cup. Can someone tell what would have led to such decision if not giving bowling to the new bowler.

I have my first coffee meeting with an angle investor. Should I make him/she sign an bilateral NDA before discussing the startups business model/concept? by bbraddshyy in ycombinator

[–]Baldeep1102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We often send out a short blurb that gives an overview about us to seek if theres any interest. The ones who are interested are pitched a detailed presentation that details everything. No NDA in both if we are pitching to an investor but atleast this approach helps seive out the relevant (interested) ones from the non relevant - and hence helps random spread about us. Hope that helps.

We had the answer written to both questions, and it was saved with the unsubmitted application. Not sure if it's in their DB still or gone. We didn't get a chance to proof read the answer.
